Follow Becky through the ambush

Becky was off in the jungle, keeping pace with the cart as she carefully scouted the area. She would be the first lookout, if anything showed up, she would either be able to warn the rest of the group of the impending attack, or at least drop back to be able to hit the Lizardfolk from behind at a critical moment. If she was fortunate, they might still be able to turn this into an ambush on the Lizardfolk instead.

As the front wheels of the first cart clicked onto the rope bridge, Becky heard rustling in the woods, behind her, between her and the cart, all around her! She quickly slid behind the nearest tree as several dozen lizardfolk warriors surged out of the jungle, clamoring up onto the road to rush the cart.

This was what she had prepared for. Becky just needed to stay hidden until they were all past, then she could get to work helping the others.
