Fishbone Village, at least, is doing well

When Libet returned, she saw that the village hadn't suffered any noteworthy damage. From the talk she heard around the village, it seemed two elder mages had kept the wind and rain to a minimum, and kept any lightning from striking the village.

The Fishbone Tribe was currently led by a trio of elders, two mages and one hobgoblin. From the sound of their feats, Libet realized they were much, much stronger than her.

That said, her delivery of fish was much appreciated, so Libet could say her own contribution was worth something even if it was meager compared to redirecting a storm.

But as the day went on, word came back of a chance for Libet to potentially gain some status. Apparently one of the nearest goblin villages had fared far worse in the storm. Tria had been bragging about the accomplishments of the elder mages to Libet when word from their scouts came back. "So we'll offer them aid?" Libet asked without thinking.

Tria simply laughed in her face. "Aid? I don't know where you could have possibly gotten such an idea. No, we'll be raiding them. We may offer some of their elites a place in our tribe, but the rest will end up as slaves and sacrifices.What else would we do with them?"

Part of Libet wanted to argue, but it dawned on her that this was what goblins were like. This attitude was why she was so keen on producing results. "Yes, I should have known better. Could I accompany your raiding party?"

That earned a grin from the senior mage. "Eager to claim your first slave, eh? I don't see the harm. Better for you to learn sooner than later. Come along, I'll gather up my forces."

With that, Tria began to scurry around the village. It seemed the three elders would be staying behind to guard the village, and the other elites like Tria would be dividing up the normal goblins.

There would be four squads: Tria's, one belonging to another older mage, and two belonging to hobgoblins. They would be raiding the badly damaged village belonging to the Skunk Skull Tribe.

Although Libet would have her senior mage as many other fighters with her, this would still be her first battle.
