First officer Polydora inspected the Amazon pirates she had selected to form the **** raiding party. "Surely you mean as soon as the Captain is aboard Polly." Labia's voice interrupted. "Or were you in such a rush that you forgot who commands here?"

Polydora turned quickly at the sound of her Captain's voice behind her. The look of surprise and guilt on her face was quickly masked though not quickly enough to escape Lydia's notice. The first office stood to attention, body straight and heavy stunner shouldered smartly, as did the other Amazons of the landing party. Labia stalked up to Polydora with an easy smile upon her sparkly purple lips but with eyes cold and hard as she studied her first officer. She halted just inches from the tall blonde and stared her down.

"Of course I meant when you arrived Captain." Polydora lied glibly. "That goes without saying. I simply wanted everything prepared for your arrival."

"Of course you did Polly." Labia was deliberately using the shortened name of her first officer to emphasise her lesser status.
