First day

Ymir put on his clothes along with his monster hide armor and rushed downstairs, “Bye mom. Bye dad, see you guys in a few months, I will be sure to write to you.”,today was his first day, today he would choose his job as an adventurer. Jobs could be all types of things, he could be a healer, a mage, a fighter, or a cleric. Everyone starts off with one of these four jobs, the jobs eventually evolve into further specializations, i.e swordsman, battlemage, thaumaturge, ect. The job you acquire is entirely up to the beings of the higher planes.

Ymir would be going to the city of Noxius to become an adventurer as only major cities had adventuring guilds. The whole trip would take around nine hours by carriage. A little way through the ride he started to drift away, falling asleep.

Ymir’s dreams were often nonsensical, but the start of this particular dream felt very real. He dreamt of a battlefield, fires and bodies everywhere, the sound of screams and clashing metal, he saw himself, running straight into the midst of everything. It was clearly him, but he wasn’t there, this event, this battle never happened, but there he was weapon in hand, he crouched down low and then he soared through the air and cleanly cut off an enemy’s head. He started rampaging throughout the battlefield, no matter what hit him, he didn’t stop. _Shwooop _an arrow flew and struck Ymir square in the shoulder, another fell down and hit his side, no matter how strong someone was, if someone had their organs ripped apart by an arrow or more commonly a sword, they would die. End of story. Yet Ymir didn’t stop, he kept going, slicing bodies clean in half, until he was crowded and eventually surrounded by the enemy forces. They all took jabs at him, at some point you couldn’t even see Ymir through all the people. Then a giant **** through them all back…… Ymir gasped as soon as he woke up from his dream, something had stopped the carriage.
