What Next?
Fighting The God
I rush Kurdes once the dark spikes disappear. I can see Bergeth running at him from the other side. Kurdes creates a large dark spear and sends it at me. Thanks to the Annihilating Weapon I cast on my Dark Claws, I'm able to destroy it without slowing down. Kurdes jumps up, using his wings to go nearly thirty feet up. I cast Hydra and make the three heads charge a blast of pure elemental energy. While I'm getting the attack ready, Verona and Lakey were using the wind and water to attack him. Verona was creating spears that homed in on him. Lakey sent a large stream of water straight into the air from the ocean. From it, she sent out an army of water people, who all had a tether attaching them to the stream. I make Hydra fire as soon as it's ready. The three blasts fly straight at Kurdes who noticed too late, too distracted by Verona and Lakey.

Kurdes beats his wings to clear the smoke from the blast. I can see a train of blood running down his forehead. He glares at me before one of Lakey's water people jumps on his back. He tries to shake it off but it grabs his wings tightly. Water pumps through its tether and its hands grow until they completely envelop his wings. Kurdes shouts out in pain as the water in its hands starts to spin like a vortex. They tear off his wings and he starts falling. I rush forward and cast Flame King's Vortex right above the ocean, where he's going to land. I make it as big as I can and see a small flame appear. It immediately grows into a raging inferno nearly as large as my cabin. The water below it starts to quickly evaporate. Kurdes spreads his arms and darkness engulfs him. He falls into the inferno while wrapped in the darkness.

Kurdes shoots out of the vortex, his darkness burned away. His left arm and leg are covered in burns. He lands in the sand about ten feet away. I see he's created new wings out of his darkness. He turns to me and raises his hand. He points his palm at me and a large ball of darkness appears in front of him. Almost immediately it fires a beam of darkness at me. I reach out and cast Annihilation Energy. I create a spear from the energy and send it forward. It destroys the beam and travels toward Kurdes. He roars in anger and the beam of darkness grows. It starts pushing back on my spear. I get ready to cast another spear when the beam suddenly stops. I see Bergeth where Kurdes was. Kurdes is sliding on the sand, from Bergeths kick. He uses his darkness to stop and lunges for Bergeth. He slams his fist into Bergeth, who uses his arm to block. He still gets knocked down to the sand and Kurdes kicks him like a kickball. Bergeth get's knocked back into the ocean, where the waves catch him. I run forward as the Headless Horseman attacks Kurdes from behind. He's given his head to Lakey. He punches Kurdes in the back. Kurdes spins around and hits the Horseman in his side with the back of his fist. The Horseman falls to the sand and Kurdes turns to me. I swing my fist, aiming for his face. He dodges and I see an image from Clairvoyance. It shows me getting my heart ripped out by him. I Blink above him and see the Horseman tackle him. He wraps his arms around Kurdes and pushes him back. Kurdes slams his elbow into the Horseman and he falls to the sand again. Kurdes kicks him away and I notice a faint dark mist on his foot. I land in the sand and look at his foot.
"You've noticed it? I'm impressed. This is my enhancement." Kurdes says while raising his hand. A large amount of pitch-black fog swirls around his hand. I see Bergeth lunge for him and he smiles. Kurdes dodges, the fog appearing on his legs briefly. He slams his fog-covered fist into Bergeths exposed back. Bergeth gets sent flying forward, skipping on the sand and dirt like a flat stone on water. He stops once he hits a tree, breaking the tree and knocking it over. "It's very powerful, but it only lasts for one attack before I need to recast it." Kurdes continues and I turn to him. He steps forward and the fog engulfs his hands. Before either of us attacks, three magic circles glow on his body. They appear where I cast Annihilation Mark. He turns to them shocked before they each explode.

Kurdes falls to his knee and I lunge forward. I see fog appear on his arm and stop right before he swings it up. Had I not stopped, he would've hit me square in my jaw. I raise my foot and kick him and he jumps back. I lunge forward, not wanting him to recover. He pulls back his arm and I see an image from Clairvoyance again. It shows his arm impaled through my chest. His arm is emitting too much fog to see if he's holding my heart like last time. I jump to my left at the last moment and see him thrust his arm forward. It's covered in fog and I see him smile. I start trying to land any kind of physical attack on him. I don't have much mana left, and I want to conserve it. I think about casting Ancient Werewolf when something occurs to me. He keeps going for my heart. He hasn't once gone for my legs, arms, head, or anywhere else. Probably because of Gaia. If he injured me, she'd heal me up. So he has to go for the kill. I think before something Prisma told me comes to mind. God, this is such a horrible plan. Why do I always come up with these bad ideas? I think while smiling.
