Family Comes First, Pt. 4

“Oh. Mierda. Sofia and Nelly.” Tanya says in realization.

Well, more Sofia than Nelly.

“Actually, this places everyone’s family within Jay’s pool of potential partners.” Becca clarifies.

“Maddy.” Becca says to grab Maddy’s attention. “You said you’re going to persuade your father for your sister to stay with you over the summer, correct?” Becca asks, and Maddy nods before biting the nail of her thumb as she thinks deeply about the consequences of allowing you to buy this trait.

“Anybody else have family members that could potentially put you in a weird situation with this trait?” Stella asks.

“I have all brothers, and my mom’s a senior citizen.” Viv answers seriously. “Unless Jay suddenly gets a taste for that sort of thing, I think I’m good.” She then adds jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.

“Single daughter already fucking her daddy, so I’m good too.” Stella piles on with a chuckle.

“Other than Cassie, or potentially other half-sisters we’re not aware of, I’m most likely not going to be placed in other potentially incestuous situations as well.” Becca adds, a bit more seriously, but still trying to insert some humor in it.

“You’re not at all worried that you’re potentially going to join your half-sister in an orgy?” Viv asks Becca.

“Cassie and Stella are probably closer to sisters than Cassie and I are right now, and they don’t seem to mind.” Becca answers, getting a chuckle out of Stella.

“I mean, if you guys are okay with it, it shouldn’t be—” Viv starts saying, before she gets cut off by Brooke.

“I have two younger sisters.” Brooke answers Stella’s original question with a tone of worry, and you can see the potential consequences running around her mind now as well. Her tone gets the lightheartedness that Viv introduced to slowly dissipate.

“I have four sisters.” Maddy answers too.

“My daughters.” Tanya adds, filled with concern as well. The lightheartedness is completely gone now.

“Mom.” Cassie surprisingly answers, and you and Stella react in shock for her to even consider it.

“Cass!” Stella shouts in shock at Cassie’s suggestion.

“That’s never going to happen, baby.” You assure her.

“I know.” Cassie calmly responds, taking you and Stella by surprise once more.

“So why is everyone acting like it’s a foregone conclusion that Jay’s going to sleep with every female family member we have?” Cassie asks the group.

“Are we forgetting that Jay is the same guy that we had to convince to make the most of the app? To use it outside of our relationship?” Cassie adds with a lot more conviction, and some of the others give facial expressions that Cassie has a point.

“Unintended consequences, chica.” Tanya calmly answers her. “Even if Jay controls himself, the app multiplies affection remember? What if the only thing preventing my daughters from seeing him in a sexual way is because he’s already dating me? If he buys this trait—” Tanya begins to argue, but Stella cuts her off.

“If they develop strong enough feelings for him, it’s not going to matter, Tanya. I should know.” Stella corrects her, and Tanya closes her eyes and nods, conceding to Stella’s point. Everybody knows Stella developed her feelings for you before you even bought ‘Normalized ****’, all it did was basically allow her to express her feelings for you more openly.

“If they do develop these feelings for him without this trait, all it’ll do is make them question their morality, or their sanity, and they’ll guilt themselves for feeling like that.” Stella continues to argue, getting Tanya to pause and think about her feelings about the possible consequences of buying the trait again.

“I know what I feel for Mr. Craig.” Maddy finally breaks the silence. “If my sister develops that for him over the course of the summer, then those are her feelings. I don’t have a problem with him dating others, so I guess it would be hypocritical of me to stop her from dating him if she wants to.” Maddy shares.

“What would you feel about sleeping with your sister when you’re both with Jay?” Tanya asks her, getting Maddy to immediately blush and widen her eyes at the idea. “Yeah. That’s what I’m having issues with.” Tanya clarifies.

“Tanya…” You try to assure her that she doesn’t need to worry about that and that you can promise her to stay away from her daughters, but she raises a hand to stop you immediately.

“I know what you’re going to say, papi. You don’t need to say it. You’ll promise me that you won’t pursue either of my daughters or that you won’t allow either of them to grow feelings for you; or maybe even if one of them does, you’ll reject them because of what I say at this moment… before you buy a trait that would magically change my mind to think it’s okay.” Tanya correctly guesses.

“I’ve already taken that into consideration, and you know what? I believe you. I’ll believe you’ll do that for me. That’s how much I love and trust you.” Tanya declares. “You tell any of us you’re only buying this so that Becca’s dad can stop trying to mess with our relationship, and that you won’t take advantage of it, we’ll completely believe you and know you’ll probably push through with it.” Tanya adds, and all the girls nod in agreement.

“But…” Cassie adds for Tanya, knowing there’s always a caveat to these things.

“But I also know that it’ll be unfair to either of my girls if one of them does grow feelings for you, and even though the universe already says it’s okay, papi still won’t reciprocate their feelings and reject them… only because of something I said when I was still uncomfortable with the idea.” Tanya explains.

“Tanya, it’s perfectly normal to be completely against it. That’s the reason why I called this—” You try to assure Tanya but she interrupts you again.

“I didn’t say I’m completely against it.” Tanya cuts you off, and her statement takes you by surprise.

“You’re not!?” Brooke asks Tanya in shock.

“You’re okay with maybe sharing Jay with your daughters?” Viv asks Tanya directly.

“Of course not!” Tanya reacts defensively. “I mean… just… not right now.” Tanya qualifies before pausing again. “It’s just… Whenever I think of the future, I obviously see papi in it with me… with all of us… and with both my girls. Whatever apprehensions I have about him having that kind of relationship with my daughters go away when I think of him as their stepdad. If they grow feelings for him then, then it’s just something similar to his relationship with Stella, and that’s something I have no problem with.” Tanya explains, and all of you immediately understand why that is, and Tanya does too.

“Yeah, I know it’s because of the magic.” Tanya preempts any of you from pointing it out. “What I’m saying is — there’s a part of me that already thinks that, in a different context, it’s not that bad. Hell, a part of me even thinks maybe it’s an inevitable outcome once we become a family.” Tanya admits, and you notice Stella, Cassie, and Viv can’t help but smile after hearing Tanya’s admission. You can’t help but smile too, once you realize Tanya didn’t say ‘if you become a family’... she said ‘once you become a family’.

“I guess we’re really allowing him to do this, huh?” Brooke asks the group with a chuckle, getting the others to chuckle along with her, except for Becca.

“The only thing you’re allowing with the purchase of this trait is a future where I can pursue a relationship with Jay without my father meddling with our affairs.” Becca points out to Brooke. “Like Tanya said earlier, if you have any apprehensions about him potentially dating your relatives, bar him from doing so now. We all know that even after he buys the trait, he’d still follow your wishes.” Becca argues again, and Brooke waves her off.

“I’ve heard all the arguments, Becca. Relax. I’m not stopping this train.” Brooke assures her. “I only really asked what I asked since I was wondering if there even is a line we won’t allow him to cross anymore.” Brooke explains to the group.

“Piss. Scat. Animals. Dead people. Kids. Um… Hmmm… What else?” Viv starts listing before pondering what to add to the list further.

“The fuck are you talking about?” Brooke asks her.

“The lines I won’t allow him to cross.” Viv nonchalantly answers, and the group immediately lets out a collective “EW~” in disgust, before all shifting into laughter.

“I don’t think you need to worry about me ever wanting to cross any of those lines.” You assure them while still laughing.

“You’ll never know. What if you get put in one of those Black Mirror scenarios and Stella’s been kidnapped, and you need to fuck a pig to free her. So now you have to buy Normalized **** or some shit so that nobody would actually care. Are you not going to fuck that pig to save Stella?” Viv asks you the most appalling hypothetical you could imagine coming out of this conversation. Everyone seems to think so too, and just look at her with squinting eyes filled with confusion and disgust.

“Can we uninvite Viv to future group meetings?” Stella jokes.

“It’s a valid question!” Viv reacts defensively.

“Just let me stay kidnapped. I’ll take one for the team.” Stella answers her.

“Okay~, let’s not stick to that conversation any longer, shall we?” Brooke says to get everyone back on track. “Since it seems like we all agree that you buy the trait once you have enough points…” Brooke prefaces, and waits for everyone to either nod or voice their confirmation before continuing.

“What’s next?”
