Familiar Voices

The tower is closer with each step. Your stomach feels heavy, can you really do this? Can you save the world from being doomed by a monster invasion? You stop at a baseball diamond. Stepping up to home plate you take a few practice swings with your bat, trying to convince yourself that you can overcome any threat. You hear a rustling behind. You look over your shoulder to check if a threat is approaching. Nothing seems to be there.

When you turn back, you're back in the throne room from before. The same dark figure sitting upon the throne “Come to me,” his gravelly voice rings out once again. Two of the girls leave the figure’s side, strutting across the room towards you. Neither of them are wearing much, their attire could be described as little more than an ornate bikini.

With a pale blonde on one side and a bronzed brunette on the other, you feel their breath on your ears as they whisper, “Come to us.” Chills run down your spine. The dark figure’s eyes pierce you with a glowing intensity from beneath his hood. You can’t make out his face, but the glowing eyes strike fear within you. You close your eyes to avoid the gaze, your world filled with the breathing in your ears.

“Holly? Is that you?” you hear a familiar voice call out. You open your eyes to find yourself standing on the baseball diamond once again. You spin around the women from the throne room gone, no dark figure with glowing eyes either.

“It is her,” another voice cries out. Back in the real world now you can identify where the voice is coming from. You spin to see 2 women coming towards you. Wait it’s Sarah and Jen! They’re safe. What are they wearing? Your two close friends are striding towards you wearing corsets and panties.

“It’s just like I said,” Sarah says while motioning to the looming tower.

“Nice ring,” Jen says while she grabs your left hand. Sarah and Jen exchange a look.

“Yea, I think I’m the ‘chosen one’ from Sarah’s story. You know the young beautiful girl with a magic ring,” you tell them while waving the silver ring around. You watch as your friend’s stare at the red gem attached to your finger. They look a little pale, and you are still questioning their outfits.

“That’s amazing. We know someone who can help,” Jen says. “She wanted to stop the Dark King’s plan. She sent us out to look for the ‘promised’ one.”

“We never would’ve guessed it was going to be you that we found,” Sarah interjects.

“But it’s perfect. Now the three of us can work together to stop the Dark King,” Jen excitedly claps her hands.

“The Mistress will be quite pleased,” Sarah says with a huge smile across her face.

Your friends hold out their hands, “Let’s go to her. She’ll help us,” they say together.
