Faexina's trial

"Can you call Faexina out? I'd like to do her trial." Irina nods, and pulls a stone out{if Intelligence > 0}, which you recognize to be a sending stone{endif}. Checking the carving on it, she nods and presses to said symbol. "She'll be on her way shortly." Ten minutes later, the silver-haired elf drops from the ceiling, causing you to start a bit. She shrugs and says, "coming in through the window is honestly faster than coming through the door." Your eyebrows furrow; that still doesn't explain how she was on the ceiling. "I heard you wanted to do my trial?" You nod, still somewhat speechless. "Very well, let's head to the office." "Wait, why can't we do it here?" "Theoretically we could, but the idea of an isolated trial is to prevent everyone from being aware of how everyone is voting, thus preventing that from influencing voting."

She walks towards a hallway, and you follow her. Eventually, the two of you arrive in an office - a desk faces the wall, chair nested into it, and a small bookcase sits next to it, a number of books currently arranged on it. Counting the books, it seems that there's just over two rows, and each row holds twenty books. Interestingly, all 46 books are uniform in both shape and size and color.

Faexina sits in one of the chairs at the side, and sweeps her hand, motioning you to pick your own seat from among the three other chairs not at the desk. You oblige, sitting in the one relatively close to her. "Let's start by discussing a pretty common subject: honor. Obviously, I'm a rogue, which means I don't always behave in line with traditional concepts of honor. Nevertheless, I have a certain amount of my own brand of it. We all have our own standards for behavior, but the question I have for you is: when it comes down to it, are you going to protect others?"
