Chapter 10 by vinnievu vinnievu

Time to check out the Mahalo Trail, I guess?

Exploring Iki Town

There are two parts to this town, so let's check the bottom portion.

Now, according the sign, Iki Town is "the place where we give thanks to Pokemon.", whatever that means. You can see a mother talking to her son, saying something about how spending time with Pokemon is fun whether it's eating dinner, or playing together, and how the tall grass is like a treasure trove that contains all kinds of Pokemon. On another side you see an older brother sighing as he sees his little brother playing with his Rockruff in the mud.

In the houses, one of them contains an old couple mentioning how they get sleepy and after sleeping they feel refreshed to start a glorious new day. Another one contains a mom looking fondly at her 18-year old daughter playing with her Rockruff happily. And the other house contains a young couple talking to each other about Pokemon, about ancient people surfing with their Pokemon and how now, we see Pokemon being used as either allies in battle and/or as pets to play and love.

In the top part, we see a big wooden stage that is used to hold special events and a really big house, possibly belonging to the kahuna that Kukui mentioned. In that house, you are welcomed to the throne room where the kahuna would sit. In the kitchen, you can see some chefs making food and talking on a range of topics, from an upcoming festival to how the Kahuna once made a boy cry because of his furious face, and to how the kahuna does sumo training. In the bedroom, you see a woman taking care of a pink Pokemon with a long tail that says "Slowpoke". And the other room is a bathroom.

(Yeah, it took me a while to get this part running, sorry.)

No kahuna here, maybe he's on the Mahalo Trail.
