Escape from the Dungeon of Lust

After climbing another stairway, we found ourselves at another drawbridge with a Kamoshida statue.

"So these things have mechanisms that control the bridge? A bit freaky that we have to lower the jaw to get them to work though," I muttered.

"Tell me about it but that's how they work." Morgana explained as I, without hesitation, I grasped it's mouth again.

"Hold on a sec!" said Ryuji. "I feel like I've seen what this dude's wearing before. Dammit! I'm too flustered! I can't remember anything right now!"

"Come on, let's go!" said Morgana.

"Hold on, dammit!"

"What is it? We need to go, fast!"

"But who are these guys?"

"Do you really think you have time to worry about other people right now!?" Morgana shot back. "Besides, they're-"

"There!" shouted an armoured soldier.

The drawbridge lowered and he ran over to us.

"You should've listened to me!" Morgana groaned.

"Let's fight." I said, my clothes turning back to their magician form.

"I'm glad you stick to your guns."

The soldier transformed into two pixies that were barely smaller than Morgana.

"Looks like it's raring to go too!" said Morgana.

Morgana had Zorro send wind into one Pixie, killing it.

"Arsene, Eiha!" I said.

Arsene blasted the remaining Pixie with dark energy, killing it. My clothes changed back to normal again.

"Alright!" said Morgana. "Let's get away before more show up!"

"Hold on, we can't just leave these guys here!" said Ryuji.

"You really don't get it, do you? There's no time to explain. Look, I'm going. If you don't want follow, be my guest!"

"Dammit. Fine, I'm coming!"

"The entrance hall is right above here! The exit's close. Keep it up!"

We ran up the stairs, through the entrance hall where we were knocked out, to reach some doors.

"We're here!" said Morgana.

"Finally!" said Ryuji. "We're saved!"

Ryuji tried to the door on the right but it was locked.

"It's not opening!" he said. "D'you trick us, you jerk!?"

"Don't jump to conclusions!" said Morgana. "Over here!"

Morgana ran through the door on the left.

"Hey, wait up!" said Ryuji.

We followed Morgana to find what appeared to be a small storage room, a dead end.

"Where are we supposed to get out from here!?" asked Ryuji. "There aren't even any windows!"

"Ugh, amateur." said Morgana. "This is the most basic of basics."

"A ventilation shaft?" I asked, looking a grate above the book shelve, large enough for me and Ryuji to fit to crawl through one by one.

"That's right! As I thought, you're a natural at this. It leads all the way outside."

"I see." said Ryuji. "Then we just gotta get that metallic mesh off!"

Ryuji climbed onto the bookshelf.

"And a one and a-"

Ryuji pulled the metallic mesh off, falling off the bookshelf along with it.

"Ow. Crap! The enemy didn't hear us did they? Seriously, we're finally getting outta here!" Ryuji cheered with a massive grin as he picked himself up.

"You should wait on celebrating until you actually get out. Now, get going," Morgana said as he grabbed at the broken shaft.

"But what about you?"

"There's something that I still have to do. We're going our separate ways," Morgana explained.

"Thanks," I said.

"Heh, you got manners," Morgana grinned. "Be careful on your way out."
