Constrict & Consume

If their opponent fails to dodge their attack, they will coil around them and restrict their movement. This initial attack does no damage, but on each of their turns that they remain coiled around their opponent, the opponent will take 1D4 crushing damage.

The constricted opponent can make a STRENGTH check each turn, contested by the snake's STRENGTH roll. If they beat the snake's roll, they will be able to break free.

Each turn that they fail to escape, the snake will begin to swallow their body. This will usually take 4 turns to swallow them completely, going head, shoulders, hips, legs (or same in reverse order). It will take a STRENGTH success for the victim to break free of the coils, and another STRENGTH success for them to pull themselves out of being partially swallowed.

Once completely swallowed, there is no escape, as the snake's stomach is too tightly constricting to allow any movement. The victim will be slowly digested.
