Emily's roommate appears.

"Hello?" a female voice asked from another room in the apartment.

"Hey, Katie!" Emily yelled as she kicked off her shoes. "I've brought some friends over."

"Oh hi!" A cute, young blonde with a ponytail peeked around the corner and was surprised to see two strangers at the door.

"Katie, these are my new friends Sam and Ryan," Emily introduced. Ryan and Marlissa graciously shook hands with Emily's roommate. "Please make yourself comfortable while I change."

"Do you want anything to drink?" the blonde asked politely.

"I'll have water please," Ryan replied. Marlissa shook her head.

"So where did you guys meet my roommate?" Katie wondered, handing Ryan a glass of water.

"Thank you," Ryan said, taking a much needed a sip, dehydrated from all the beer he had drank. "We met Emily tonight at the pub."

"We are newlyweds who stopped into town for the night," Marlissa continued, proudly showing off her engagement and wedding rings to Katie, "and we asked Emily if she could show us what to do around town."

"Do you want to join us?" Ryan asked.

"Where are you guys going?" Katie wondered.

"Ravens," Marlissa answered.

"You can't go there in that dress," the blonde suggested and grabbed hold of Marlissa's hand to lead to Katie's bedroom. Ryan stood in the kitchen, drinking his water, and waited for the girls to return in more appropriate outfits.
