Emergency Broadcasts

Veronica felt her phone start vibrating in her pocket, 'BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP!'

Strange, I thought I set that to Silent... Veronica thought as she pulled it out.

Cassie came out to the overhang in her underwear, "Hey guys! Everyone's phones are blowing up back in the bedroom, come take a look!"

"Alright, got nothing better to do..." Elizabeth grumbled.

"Be right there!" Aileen finished messing with a curler in her hair and headed for her phone in the other room.

"I'll take a look when I'm done," Karen said, staying in the bathroom.

"Hey, Julie, get up here and turn off your damn phone!" Vanessa yelled from the other bedroom.

"Coming!" Julie shouted back.

Veronica unlocked her phone and found an automated alert.

"THIS IS NOT A TEST! THIS IS NOT A TEST! PLEASE REMAIN INDOORS AND TURN TV SETS TO CHANNEL 5 FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS! THIS IS NOT A TEST! THIS IS NOT A TEST!"

Elizabeth had apparently reached her phone, she asked "Is it an earthquake?"

"This isn't California, Liz" Veronica shouted up to them, going to the living room to find the television remote.

"Maybe a Tornado?" Julie said.

"Isn't Oklahoma Julie."

"A hurricane?" Julie offered.

"Julie, shut up," Vanessa countered.

Veronica found the remote buried between two sofa cushions and turned on the TV, quickly changing it to channel 5... and was immediately disappointed when it started showing some ridiculously over dramatic soap opera in Spanish.

Vanessa came out to join Veronica, "Why the hell are you watching my grandmother's telenovela? Change it to the news."

"Find the damn TV guide, it's the stupid hotel programming..." Veronica said as she started flipping through the channels. At least someone else is dressed... she thought.

"Found it! Here we go..."

Elizabeth: In her room looking at her phone. Only dressed in a towel.

Karen: straightening her hair in the bathroom, dressed in panties and bra. Dressed only in red panties and bra.

Julie: on her way up the stairs to check her phone. Dressed in Jeans and a bra.

Vanessa: Trying to help Veronica find the right TV channel. Dressed in a black top, a long tight fitting skirt, and short heels.

Cassie: In her room looking at her phone. Only dressed in black panties and bra.

Veronica: Trying to navigate the stupid Hotel channel programming in order to turn on the news. Dressed in white blouse, blue jeans, and short heels.
