Elody becomes Gelmina's Regent

A few days later Elody, Vrasha and Henna headed back to Khol Hon. She was overjoyed Karden had accepted her deal and had allowed them to return to the kingdom with no problems. Elody was true to her word upon their arrival home. Vrasha had ordered peace between the two kingdoms, and as a show of good faith began trading with Gelmina in earnest. Gelmina shared its abundant water while Khol Hon shared its goods and plentiful wealth. They exchanged ambassadors and citizens with great ease, many of Khol Hon's citizens willingly becoming slaves that were sold to far away lands and kingdoms. Both kingdoms flourished and pretty soon Vrasha announced Khol Hon would become part of Gelmina, and that she would be stepping down as Queen to pursue a more normal life. Elody was appointed as Gelmina's regent and was given complete authority over the former kingdom. This was not what Elody wanted, but Karden had insisted on it.

Not long after her appointment, she and Vrasha were betrothed at a ceremony that was fitting of both their stations. Now they could pursue the love they held for each other as Mistress and **** openly, with Henna as their handmaiden and bed partner. It was a life Elody had longed for ever since the day she met Vrasha. Her job now became to make sure Vrasha and Henna supplied loyal heirs that would continue to govern alongside Gelmina without question.

Elody had been so busy with the duties and responsibilities of being Regent that she found herself with very little time to be with her new bride and finally take her virginity properly. But Vrasha waited patiently for her because it was expected of her. She knew when the time was right Elody would plough her fertile fields and she would bear children. The anticipation that came with waiting made it all worthwhile.

Finally Elody had found some free time. They planned a romantic getaway to one of the coastal kingdoms, Sylant, where they would spend time consummating their relationship, the three of them. Plans were finalized and the day arrived for their departure. The old familiar royal entourage was to be used for the trip. The carriage was loaded, and they all bid the people farewell. But no one knew how treacherous their journey could become.
