Ella Purnell

"...Our next guest is a rising star of the TV world. You might know her as Lucy MacLean in the brilliant television adaptation of the Fallout games. She managed an entire season of exploring the post-apocalyptic wasteland without taking her clothes off for the cameras, but in her latest show, Sweetpea, that could all change.

"Please give it up for Ella Purnell!"

The audience broke into applause as the Brit walked onto the stage, smoothing down her dress as she sat down on the sofa.

Pleasantries were exchanged, and after a short discussion about her career so far, the conversation turned more serious.

"So, Ella, you've done all of these roles, but we haven't seen you naked in any of them? How come? A beautiful young woman like you should be getting her kit off every time the camera starts rolling."

"Thanks...I think?" Ella laughed, a pinkish hue colouring her cheeks. "I just, you know...don't like getting naked..."

"Is that so?" the host asked, his eyes sparkling. "It's funny you should say that, because we've been through your phone, and your camera roll would beg to differ."

Ella's mouth fell open as a montage began to roll on the monitor.

"T-that's private!" She cried as all of her nudes were displayed to the world: a headshot in the shower; pouting while wrapped only in a towel; posing seductively in a bikini; clad only in a thong and teasingly covering her breasts with one arm.

"It certainly looks like you enjoy taking your clothes off, Ella!"

"For my boyfriend, not for everyone!" she fumed. Tears had started to well up in the corners of her large eyes as her breathing became short and panicky.

"It's OK, Ella, I'm only messing with you!" the host chuckled. "I was only curious; do you really think we'd make someone strip naked on live TV if they didn't want to?"

"Oh...I suppose not, no," Ella laughed, wiping her eyes and relaxing.

As the brunette composed herself, the next guest was welcomed onto the sofa.

"...many people would consider your methods to be gaslighting."

"Oh, absolutely not!" the psychiatrist as saying. "Gaslighting is psychological manipulation. I'm talking about using a positive, confident mindset to encourage someone to do something. It's simple reasoning, you only have to make the subject understand things from the required point of view."

"So in theory, you could, just to pick a random example, convince Ella here to strip for us?"

"Well, as I say in my new book, the obvious disclaimer is that these methods shouldn't be used for illegal, immoral, or unethical purposes. But Ella is very pretty, so I'm sure we can make an exception."

"Hang on a minute!" the blushing actress interjected.

"Ella, I need you to listen," they said, calmly.

"Would it really be so bad if you took all your clothes off right now? What's the worst that's going to happen?"
