Elevator

Nate started moving swiftly across the floor towards the elevators. The walls around them indented from the rest of the hallway, which gave him a place to hide. Just as he pressed himself against the indented wall, heard a door open. Then he heard a knock and another door open.

"Hello Selina." It was his mother. "We heard the door open. Is everything alright?"

"Really?" Are you sure it was our door?" His sister replied.

"Maybe I was mistaken. Where's Nate?"

"Oh, he is in the shower."

"Oh right, good. I can't believe a ruined our seats like that. One of these days I'm going to give that boy a good thwacking on the bottom if he doesn't grow up."

Nate made a mental note of that.

"Try not to be too hard on him Mom. You prevented him from using the bathroom, remember?"

"Oh Selina, you are too sweet, but I had to punish him. You said he was looking at you inappropriately. He was, right?"

"Um yeah, of course."

"Good. Well, goodnight."

"Yeah, goodnight."

Nate heard both doors close, then he stepped out and pushed the elevator button. He didn't know what was going to be on the other side of those doors when they opened. The elevator dinged and he found out.
