What's next?
Elaborate
Behind closed doors and a closed window, a certain Nekomata was on top of her prey moving and wiggling about. He was resisting, but knew that the struggle was futile. Eventually the Nekomata wins, always does according to her victorious smirk. Still, Felix did his best to shake and swat her paws away, but her added two tails were ambushing his sides and ribs where his weak spots are. His cheeks were beginning to hurt, and his chest grew weary from so much extended use.
"Alright alright, you got me! Stop, stoo-oop hahaha!"
She smiled maliciously, leaning in and play biting his neck before blowing raspberries on him. He chuckled and hugged her, his arms keeping hers locked. It may not cover her tails, but a quick roll around helped reassure that they were no longer any trouble to him. She squealed and shooked her head left and right.
"EEEEK! My tails, ow-ow owie owie owie! They hurt!"
Now it was his turn to smirk. "You're bluffing."
"Nuu, I-I think you broke them. I can't feel my tails." She pouted, closing her eyes and pretending to weep. He chuckled before giving her cheek a lick, which captured her immediate attention.
"Hey, that's my thing not yours."
"More like a cat thing. It's cute."
"Yea well, it means something." She muttered, staring into his warm looking eyes and blushing.
"I know what it means, more or less."
Her eyes looked like they glittered. "Y-You do?"
He nods. "It means you were bluffing about your broken tails haha." She grunted and wiggled out of his grip, crawling away and plumping her butt on the bed, arms crossed. "What?"
"You do not play with that, Master. It means a lot, s-so... yea."
He scooted forward and sat beside her. He gave it some thought, trying to figure if he said something wrong or not. "Talk to me, what's in your mind?"
"Ish nuthing."
He shook his head, poking her booby.
She smiled and pushed him aside. "Remember I said I had a lot to think about. My mom, my sister, Na'Vi, and you."
"What about me?"
"You're house."
"Oh." He paused, in truth he was rather confident she had forgotten that little bit of stress. With the cat pack coming in and the hunter and everything going on... He hadn't a clue how any of this will be solved. "What about it?"
"You should go back home." She paused, knowing he was focused intently on what else she had to say. "Ish just, you need to keep the house calm and look after the animals there. The cows, the pigs, the barn and garden. It's gunna spoil."
He shrugged. "Maybe."
"Nu, it will. It's not... I don't want you to be in trouble because of this."
"I won't."
"But you will be, what if he gets back and you're not there? What if he gets back early?"
"He won't."
"It can happen."
"I mean, maybe."
"No." She pouted, leaning forward and facing him with a serious look. "Master, you can't just do that."
"Do what?"
"That. When Wolfy first got here, you didn't know what to do and locked her up. When my mom and sisters found us, you didn't know what to do. Now that my sister is gone, do you have a plan?"
"Break her out, I guess?"
"How? How do we do that, and what do we do after? This isn't something little, Master. He knows me."
"He knows Nityri."
"And Nityri is me." She pouts, leaping out of bed and pacing around. "This isn't-this isn't like before Felix. We aren't getting apples or food from the market anymore, we're doing something bigger. And I-I-I don't know." She looked flustered, letting herself fell against the wall as she covered her face. He sighed, understanding the hard rock they were stuck between.
"It's not that I ignore things," He started, speaking slowly. "I just... I don't know what to do except try and wake up for tomorrow."
She looked up at him and sniffled. "What do you mean, like going to sleep?"
"Like finding a spot to sleep, hope it is safe so that I wake up, hope I find food to eat, small things for bigger people. But it's all I know how to do." Unknown to him, Na'Vi had crawled down and placed her paw against the glass, pausing and thinking over what she would say. Hearing Felix say those words broke her line of thought momentarily, and just like KuliKuli she paused and listened.
"Reta knows how to fight, I hope. And Na'Vi sounds like a thinker, I think. She hates my guts."
"That's just because I with you and not her."
He shook his head. "It's a lot of things, it's because you lost your memory of her and she didn't. It's because she sees me and thinks to herself, why this wimp? Why this guy, who can't read, can't fight, and can't see too far past his nose. I know I'm a lot of work, I get that. I was okay with that when it was just me. But when I found you, and I mean you you, I didn't have a clue what to do. I just saw this woman, lost and cold and hurt, and-and I just... I wanted to make sure you were better off than I was. I didn't really think about falling for you, much less you falling for me."
Na'Vi sighed, looking up to see KuliKuli walk up and pull his face up to look at her.
"You did a lot for me, and you don't need to explain that to her. You helped me get back on my feet and gave me a home, and I can't remember the last time I felt so happy inside. I... I guess I didn't think about how you saw things."
Felix nods, holding her paw. "I don't have a clue what we're doing, or what we do next. But I know your sister is in trouble and that's enough for me."
"You're really dumb, aren't you?"
Smiling, Felix nodded once more as she laughed for a second and hugged him close. That was when they heard the window slide open and Na'Vi looking at them with an awkward look.
"Na'Vi!" They both shouted.
"Hey, I think we're in trouble."
