Chapter 2 by Cross C Cross C

What world was converted?

Earthland (Fairy Tail)

The Hermpire rings arrived on Earthland.

It is a world of magic.

Magic is bought and sold there everyday.

It is an integral part of people's lives.

And there are those who use magic as their occupation.

Those people are referred to as mages.

So given the magical nature of the world, perhaps it wasn't a surprise that it's arrival on Earthland did not go the usual way.

Well, it popped into existence within the reach of a random individual like it always did when hopping between dimensions but it was the aftermath that was so different. It turned out that the mage, Imogenica, was rather resistant to the ring's mystical compulsion to immediately try it on. She was a very powerful magic user, very learned and experienced with strange magical artifacts and the curses that inevitably seemed to come with them. Imogenica had sensed the Hermpire's near limitless magical power immediately, however, and there was simply no way she wasn't going to try and ferret out its secrets.

Fortunately for the ring, her experiments in trying to harness and tame its powers were not without flaws. In fact, the talented wizardess managed to breach the barriers that bound the ring's chaotic magic much to the ring's delight. Instantly, the transformative magic escaped into the air and joined with the Eternano that suffused this world and that made their petty inferior magics possible.

Imogenica screamed and moaned as her body instantly transformed into Earth Land's first hermpire, though no queen was she. The curse reached the atmosphere and rapidly spread across the world like wild fire, a magical plague that could not be stopped. However, as it swiftly converted countless millions of unsuspecting humans, it quickly became clear that the nature of the curse itself had been altered by its merging with the Eternano. Rather than the usual 100 percent conversion rate, only one in ten were becoming hermpires. In fact, only those who could harness the Eternano and cast spells were transformed. The magic-less population were left unchanged but certainly not unaffected.
Chaos erupted across Earth Land but it would eventually die down as the new normal was grudgingly accepted.

These were the facts that spelled the end of one society and the birth of a brand new one:

Hermpires were extremely focused on the act of copulation, many facets of the former humans' personalities twisted and changed to meet this new all consuming need.

Human women were irresistibly attracted to hermpires.

Human men were rendered docile and subservient by the mere presence of a hermpire's exposed member and wholly unable to sexually perform for their partners.

The act of copulating with a hermpire was always pleasurable, the mages' magic always ensuring their members fit no matter their size.

Hermpires were incredibly fertile when they consciously chose to be. When having sex with a woman pregnant from a human male, the mages' magic would ensure that the baby was female or hermpire, never male.

There was no set Hermpire Queen, but the hermpire need for a hierarchical power structure was very much evident.

The results of these facts was that within a few generations, the male gender was entirely extinct. The superior hermpire had completely replaced them and the social structures that developed from the fact that there was only one hermpire for every ten women were entirely different. In some places, there were monogamous harems centered around each hermpire. In others, pairs of women bonded as 'wives' to take care of any children that wandering mages chanced to impregnate them with. In still others, the raising of children was a communal affair. The solutions were as varied as the cultures in Earthland.

But our story takes place many centuries later in the Queendom of Fiore, a neutral country of 17 million people...

But when and with who does our story start?
