What's next?
Earth-1837
We've been searching for Dawn for two months now. Aladdin was not allowed to touch anything on the ship. I tried using the genie to wish for Dawn back but she refused.
Glaze announced we were heading for Earth-1837. But not before she watched a video of Donald Duck being spanked. Apparently because every story ever conceived exists in one universe or another, it was inevitable that this would include the Rule 34 stories. And it turned out that within the infinite multiverse, every one of those stories was official material, meaning that it was inevitable than someone's fanfic about spanking Donald Duck would become the actual basis for a movie or TV show, I wasn't paying much attention, in another universe and probably actually happened in yet another.
I leaned back in my seat without a word. It wasn't out of boredom or frustration. Earth-1001 was in danger of being wiped out without the princess vital to its story. And Duncan was now my enemy. Not only that, but he was working with Hera. I accidentally touched my side, feeling the scar he had left me. Did he have a point about Dawn. We keep getting tied up in these other adventures. No, Hera can't be trusted. It was distressing, really, and if we were to find Dawn first, things would only get worse.
I might have to kill my own brother.
I put on the Theme of Infinite and danced crazy.
"It was his favourite song," I cried.
"What the fuck?" Tank asked.
I finally calmed down.
"I have a plan to find Dawn," I said.
"A plan?" Glaze asked.
"If every fictional universe is real in another universe, then that includes the stuff on CHYOA, right? I think we can use one of those universes to find Dawn. But there's no guarantee, so let's continue searching random universes for now," I said.
Earth-1837 had finally come into view.
"What is this place?" I asked.
Glaze rolled her eyes, impatiently, "Earth-1837."
"I've been to another universe before," Aladdin said.
"We're gonna need your to stay on the ship," Glaze said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Aladdin is new to this. Where we're going is unlike everything you've faced before. The last thing we need is another complication," Glaze said, "Okay, guys. Prepare for landing."
The ship approached the sea. There was nothing to land on.
"Land where? In the sea? W-We'll drown!" I said.
Glaze snickered, "Not with my magic, we won't. Just leave it to me."
My legs and Tank's legs started to join together to form a long fish-like tail and dorsal fin.
Glaze transformed had me into a mermaid with a red tail, Tank into a mermaid with a blue tail and herself into a kraken with six red tentacles. I freaked the fuck out.
"Where's my dick! Where's my dick!" I screamed, fapping about.
"Calm down," Glaze said, reaching into my gills where my crotch was. I could feel her hand on my dick, "mermaids have their genitals under their gills."
"I... I'm a mermaid!" I could talk and breathe under breath. "I'm really a mermaid!"
"Isn't it technically merman?" Tank asked.
"Not this again!" Glaze said.
Was this going to be like Chiron's inability to count words? I really didn't care. I was more concerned about the water.
"Are you sure you really need me? I can't swi-"
Glaze just pushed me into the water. I freaked the fuck out... again, struggling to swim up to the surface.
"You're a mermaid. You can breathe underwater," Glaze said.
"Merman," Tank said.
"Shut up!" Glaze said.
I tried to keep calm. I've always had a fear of water.
"I told you there's nothing to worry, not with my magic around!" Glaze said, "This is why I didn't want to bring anyone new on this mission. If my magic fails for any reason, we all drown."
"Someone's coming this way!" Tank said.
Both me and Glaze turned our attention to these two figures, both mermaids.
"Come on, Hans! They're right on our tail!" called a feminine voice, echoing clearly through the water, echoing clearly through the water as if it were air.
One was a young girl with black hair and a black gills.
She was completely naked. Next to her was a middle aged mermaid who looked at us with a frown. The girl, however, beamed and hurried up to us.
“Oh, my!” She gasped, “Hello! Are you new around here?”
"Undine! What do you think you're doing?" the older mermaid asked, "They could be enemies!"
The girl shook her head, "Oh, Hans. Don't worry! They don't look dangerous," she continued towards us with Hans close behind.
"Undine, King Poseidon will not like this!"
Before any of us could respond, a group of creatures, that looked like mermaids except their torsos ended in a body akin to an octopus' instead of a mermaid tail, bobbed closer from where Undine and Hans were speeding through. I tried to shoot fire but nothing came.
"You're underwater. Fire will be washed out. Don't even try thunder or ice, you'll just end up killing us all," Glaze said.
I raised the Chainsaword in front of me and swung it down on the head of a squid boy.
Fighting as I normally did was harder to do in the water, which pulled at my arms and kept my movements from being as powerful as I’d like. A squid guy lunged forward to attack as I guarded with a swift raise of my weapon.
I glanced over to see Glaze shoot ice at a squid boy, freezing him in a block that floated upwards.
"How come you can use ice?" I asked.
"I've trained with it longer. You'll probably just freeze up everything up if you try it," Glaze said.
I was hit from behind by another squid.
I turned round and struck the enemy, again and again and again.
Tank stabbed a squid in the head.
It turned out Undine could fight, creating a water current that sent squid boys flying backwards.
I rushed for the squid boys. I thrust my Chainsaword against their chests, striking them with all my might. Tank rammed into a squid from behind, killing it with her sword.
“Wow,” Undine marvelled, and we turned to see her and Hans with their jaws dropped, “Oh, wow!"
"What were those?” I asked, "Some kinda demons?"
"Those creatures were kraken that chased us here," Undine said.
"I don't like the looks of them," Hans warned, “Undine, we’ve got to get back to the castle! Who knows when more of those krakens could show up?”
“Why, that’s a great idea!” Undine swam towards the trio, “I can’t believe the way you knocked them out like that, you should come with us back to the castle. We need your help!”
“I didn’t say that to suggest—!”
“Only my dad’s been able to hold those things off,” Undine said, "I'm sorry, but I need your help. Please come to the palace with me. Okay, let's get going."
Hans gave a drawn-out sigh, and Undine grinned. I looked back towards Glaze and Tank, and they gave me mirrored nods.
“Sounds good to me,” I said as I turned back around towards the group, “Let’s go.”
