The epilogue
Jacob leaves and doesn't come back whilst Charles tries to avenge is fallen brother, unaware of his involvement. Evie is left to run both brotherhoods and her relationship again breaks down.
Evie after the break up doesn't fall in love again due to her belief that if she did dare to love another a repeat would happen. She focused on her work as an assassin but something was different; the compare and compassion was gone and instead Evie became a coldblooded killer also becoming slightly careless which made her a wanted woman.
Evie hid in Damien's mansion before selling it adopted a new name; her name was: Clara Smith, the surname adopted from Damien's and she always addressed herself as a Widow but with the unknown whereabouts of Henry it was hard to say who she was referring to and she lived in the country where soon Jacob was **** to reunite with her.
Before the War Jacob; for his safety was evacuated to his sisters land where the spent endless hours of the day training Lydia (Jacob's granddaughter) the basic skills of an Assassin- Evie's stealth and Jacobs brawling matched up with Evie's new coldblooded attitude to everything, Evie drilled one rule in Lydia's young head, "LOVE IS CANCER, EVERYONE SUFFERS FROM IT!" Jacob tells Lydia the story who resents Evie slightly but understands her view but from there lives her own life and later on marries Sam Crowder who fights in the war and dies (dies in 1916 around the time of the events in syndicate)- which in a way proved Evie right
