Chapter 45

Another fun thing.
Draw! And a familiar place?
Without a thought, Damon drew three more of the Artifacts.

And as quick as he’d seen them, he set the new Capsules to the side, deciding to use them later, though the Gate interested him greatly.
After a moment of contemplation, he held the miniscule ring in his hand, before thinking deeply, ‘Show me Earth, my Earth, this is why you gave it to me, isn’t it?’ He passively requested, but to his shock, the tiny ring blew from his fingers, expanding into a large enough gate for his passing through.
Abruptly, Damon stood from his throne, placing Lorelai gently to the ground, and shifting his form to a mere eight feet tall, a blood suit appearing on his body, rippling with his still copious muscles bulging through, though to obviously no detriment.
His oddly lengthened ears drew to appear more human-like, as the scales behind them slid down to his back. Along with the scales scattered across his arms and legs, they slowly disappeared from view, before becoming transparent, invisible to any eye he deemed to not see them.
“Dear, I shall await your return, and shall announce your departure to the others.” Lorelai walked up to his form, the closest in size to hers it’d ever been, floated up three feet into the air, before embracing him, kissing him deeply, before floating back to his throne, sitting on the arm rest cross-legged, beginning to meditate.
Damon then turned back to the suddenly smaller Gate, sweat dropping from his face for the first time since he’d come to this world, though now, he took a step. And then another. And after the longest minute he’d ever experienced, he walked through the transparent gate, parsing through his current universe, his universe of origin, to another, the one his previous life had experienced.
As he passed through the barrier, he saw nothing, for a moment that stretched on and on, then a flash, which surpassed his various immunities, but then, the flash passed.
And with a sudden blaring of an oddly familiar horn, he’d returned.
A smile crossed his face, as he was beset with a sudden recognition of the towering buildings, as he grabbed the Gate.
As Damon was gazing around, he attempted to use Insight Of The Bountiful Edge, but noticed he was completely cut off from the previously omniscient view.
“Oh well, time to explore my old home.” Damon spoke passively, towering over the surroundings as his stride took him through the streets of the random city he’d been transported to.
As he was strutting through the streets, he caught the eyes of quite a few people, particularly, a group of supposed gangsters, who began trailing him towards a nearby alley.
And the idiotic gangsters followed him? With the smallest effort, Damon commanded one of the followers with a shotgun to shoot the man beside him, casting Dominate Being on him, and in quick succession, the man blew the brains of the unsuspecting man out from his skull, leaving an oblivious man to be beaten by his own friends for what he’d unknowingly done.
Damon was watching it all, a smile on his face, as he callously walked up to the leader of the supposed gang, placing a finger to his forehead, casting ruin, and after a single second, he was a molten heap of flesh on the ground, the confused members watching on with horror, aiming at his form, but with every blast from their guns, the bullets ricocheted from his impenetrable skin, dropping nearly half of the gang to the ground.
.
“You know what? I don’t care enough about this.” As he finished his statement, the remaining figures were rocketed at torrential speeds into the atmosphere, though they stayed in their form, protected from the drag of the immense speeds by his Omnikinesis.
And with that, the situation was handled, and after a moment's consideration, he rocketed the remains of the scuffle into space, as well.
Damon then left the alley, walking at his unbothered pace through the crowded streets, though given a wide berth for some odd reason.
As he continued walking on for around an hour, Damon chose to smile, sprouting his Dragon Wings, and with a single flap, he took the the skies, to the shock of many who witnessed it, and some even caught it on their phones, posting it online.
Damon reached a point in the sky, and thought to himself, ‘This is boring, can you take me to a version of Earth with people with powers?’ He then inquisitively threw the Gate out once again, as it grew to fit his form, and then he entered it, though this time without the blinding light, he appeared in the sky, in the same exact spot.
As Damon was looking around, he hadn’t noticed any changes, so he began to fly around.
