Dragon’s attack (34) vs Arleth’s evasion (12)

The massive claw of the dragon throws Arleth back against the forest floor. She looks down and sees her shield is basically useless now. Even the metal is nearly torn in half by the dragon’s talon. She casts it aside and scrambles to her feet. She takes stock of her situation… and her only option for survival seems to be to run.

She feels the dragon’s clawed hand wrap around her body as she tries to flee.

The hand closes around her, digging the claws deep into her torso. Though she struggles, she can’t possibly escape the creature.

“You will be mine little thing.” The dragon hisses at her.

With supernatural quickness, the dragon begins to carry her through the woods. Looking up at the sky, Arleth can see herself getting further and further away from her home. She cries out, **** for someone or something to help her, but the dragon just laughs.
