Dr. Humpalot drops them off

In about day or two of more "therapy" Humpalot declared her patients cured or at least as cured as they were ever going to be.

In front of the league doors in the great city of Vegas, Humpalot pulls over in her light blue Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid.

She pushes a button to open the back truck and looks at Beast who looks at her timidly as he sits there in the shorts that he was in when they dragged him out to his own personal hell.

"You can get out now, Beast."

"Yes…" He looks at her timidly, "Yes, thank you ma'am."

He gets out and Emily and Humpalot looks out from the front as Beast goes to the doors looking every which way and that.

"And Beast…"

"Ma'am." Beast says as he jumps up, almost falling down upon himself.

"Make sure to put some ice on your butt. You will find that the swelling will go down in a few days."

"Yes….yes thank you ma'am." He starts to run the doors, "Thank you."

Humpalot then says, "It 's sad."

"What is?" Emily as she sits there on the passenger side wearing her normal choir outfit.

"That soon he will go back to his normal self and convinced himself that none of this happened. It happens with the male ego. After something traumatic and profound hits it so hard like, finding respect for women for example, it will go to other male egos like it, drink a few beers, bang a few bitches and go back to being the man he was before the experience happened." Humpalot sighs, "Without the proper reinforcement I' m afraid Beast will repeat the same cycle over and over again."

"Not all men are like that, right?"

"No, in fact another male patient of mine. One of my greatest success stories has a great respect for women, just people he doesn't like. Of course he already had respect for women with his two older sisters and mother even through he would never say it out loud, but I think we are making progress."

Humpalot then puts her hand on Emily's knee, "Just like I think we made great progress with you. You have overcome great strides Emily from the animal I saw before me when we last left this building to where we are now. I believe you grew as person and I believe if you put your mind to it, I believe you can do great things."

Emily then lunges forward and hugs Humpalot. The doctor is taken a little by this but then pats her on the shoulder as Emily cries on her shoulder.

"Thank you. Thank you for everything." Emily pulls back and wipes a tear off her cheek, "I don't now how to repay you."

"By being you Emily and by coming to my office on our schedule appointments."

Emily chuckles as Humpalot unlocks the door, "Now go Emily and be good."

"I will. I promise." Emily walks out and into the league doors.

"But doc…" Emily turns around but Dr. Humpalot has already driven off.

Emily shrugs and looks at the league and whispers, "Let's do this."

She walks through them, waiting for new adventure to come her way with glee and confidence she believe she never had before. Now it's time to see if they pay off.
