Dr. Catherine and Penelope

A couple hours had passed since the soldiers had arrived, and Catherine was busy attending to Penelope. She was hoping they would have a plan to leave this godforsaken hospital soon, since this whole place was just a nightmare in general, and she was completely prepared to get the hell out of here and find some nice rural town to open a practice in. She was done with city life after this whole episode.

"That other girl looked cute. The redhead, you know?" Penelope said.

"Lancaster, I believe her name was." Catherine responded.

"Those the kind of girls you go after?" Penelope asked.

"Cute ones? That was traditionally the requirement, yes." Catherine said.

"I mean, someone as sexy as yourself can probably get whoever you want, so why not go after her?" Penelope asked.

"Because this isn't the time or place, not like you'd care in your...intoxicated state." Catherine said.

As the two were talking, a latcher was crawling into the room through an air vent, and slowly crawling down the wall. It was silently approaching it's prey, and right as it was about to jump, Catherine looked to the wall and saw it. The creature took her surprise as a chance, and leaped at her. But Catherine moved out of the way in a hurry, knocking Peneople's bed away some, and untying her restraints some. Catherine quickly grabbed a glass vase in the room, and looked at the creature, which leaped at her a second time. This time, she blocked the creature with the vase, which sent it to the ground, and slammed the vase onto the creature, crushing it instantly. She backed away from the dead creature, breathing heavily, and didn't notice that Penelope had untied her restraints on her arms during the chaos.

"...That was close." Catherine said.

Penelope reached out and grabbed Catherine and forcefully pulled her face first onto the bed, where she surprised Catherine by pushing their lips together, and sending her tongue to explore her mouth. As Penelope french kissed Catherine for a few seconds, Catherine quickly pushed herself away, and got off the bed.

"Fucking hell Penelope!" Catherine said as she left the room, and quickly locked the door.

"....Goddamn it." She said as she went off to look for help.
