Dorothy Cherry, The Night School Principal and a ghost

There were several bizarre things that you and several of your classmates noted about Dorothy Cherry, The Night Principal, whenever she would pop in to the school at times during day hours.

Firstly, Dorothy looked far too young to be a principal of any school. With her auburn hair tied in a girlish bob, the 5'10" green eyed beauty looked to be around twenty-one at oldest. Despite this, Dorothy insisted that she was very much old enough to qualify as a principal.

Second, Dorothy did not act or dress like a principal would. She always dressed in a white dress shirt, a gold and red striped jacket, a straw brim boater hat, a long gold and red striped skirt, a pair of black boots, a red bow tie, and carrying a cane, the woman looked more like she should be running a carnival than rather than a school. This also applied to her actions as well, the woman talking in a loud, friendly, boisterous voice with a Mid-Atlantic accent whenever she addressed anyone. This would be weird enough, except the way she spoke sounded like she thought she was living in the 1920s; using words and terms like "Gin Joint", "Bee's Knees", "Doll", and "Applesauce" among others.

Thirdly, which only caused you and a few of your friends to question most of all, was that Dorothy looked frighteningly similar to another Dorothy Cherry... One that had died back in 1925! And not just dressing similar, either. No, this Dorothy looked like an exact doppelganger of the one that lived from 1904 until 1925. But that Dorothy had passed away in a house fire ninety-nine years ago.

This was so baffling that it almost distracted you and your few other friends that noticed this from the fact that many electronics and lights seemed to malfunction slightly whenever she was around.

Almost.

Little did you know that this wasn’t a coincidence... Or that either one or both of you will have their dignity buried six feet underneath.
