You know she is a ghost (female)

You know the truth. You know that Ms. Dorothy Cherry, the nigh school principal, is a ghost. You found out one evening after you saw her walk right though a closed door. When you confronted her at it, she at first denied it and tried to come up with some excuse. When she realized you weren't fooled, she gives up and confesses that she is indeed a ghost. That she had died in that house fire in 1925, when she couldn't find any clothes to wear and ended up getting trapped. That she quickly ended waking as a ghost while dressed in her favorite attire and have been this way since.

After you got over the fact you are literally talking to a literal ghost, you and Dorothy quickly became friends. Being one of the very few people that know she is a ghost, Dorothy feels at eased and open with you. She tells about how after she graduated high school, how she joined the carnival as a show runner and enjoyed that brief time. She tells you about some of the weird things she has seen and listens interestingly to the weird adventures you have had. She even tells and shows you about her ghostly abilities, and how inconsistent they are. Sometimes she can turn invisible when she wants, and sometimes she can't. Sometimes she can turn intangible, and sometimes she can't. Sometimes she can choose who hears her. Etc. Sometimes she even appears and functions as like a living person. She doesn't know why it happens; it just does.

Dorothy says you remind her of a really shy friend she had a crush on and wants to help you 'break your shell'. She knows that you are shy and reserved and wants to help you get more confident and adventurous. You appreciate her, but you're not sure really want the help she is offering.

Little did you know that your encounter with her will lead to one of or both of you ending up in an embarrassing situation.
