"What?! Why didn't anyone tell them what was happening. So they knew not to be present."

Sir Dietrich is ashamed. "I'm sorry, sir, but if we did, your mother would have put a halt to it for sure."

"We'll make them leave."

"I'm sorry, sir, but all eyes are on the ballroom. If someone where to sneak out now it would cause a scandal. If the scandal breaks out, it could cause a political nightmare no matter who it is. Anyway, all the candidates have already met and began to mingle."
