Both of them looked appreciative, nodding gratefully. "Thank you, Doctor Li. You have always been very kind". They were truly oblivious to what was truly happening.

I made my way to the machine to grab three more cups. The two gingers were too entranced with the TV to even notice me, grabbing the coffee and drinking it absent-mindedly. I took note, however, that while Julia looked outright scared, Rachel had a certain flush whenever a succubus appeared on screen.

The final cup was for Thomas. I quickly waked him up and took the cup to his lips, not even bothering with asking for permission. Given the addictive nature of the coffee, he didn't care.

I smiled, drinking some of the foul liquid myself, and simply stood to watch for a while. Some of them looked to be more receptive than others.
