Didi's Totally Not Fanfiction 9

Before moving to Seattle Ryan thought it would be relatively easy to stay dry, well, all the time. Yes he knew it rained frequently, but it wasn't like it was constantly pouring and besides he did own an umbrella. Actually a few dozen now, just to be safe. But lately it seemed like he couldn't go a single day without transforming into HER.

It felt like there was some sort of conspiracy going on. Every time he walked across the campus lawn, the sprinklers turned on. Every. Single. Time. They weren't motion activated. He'd sat there and watched person after person walk by. But the second he came in range...It really didn't make any sense.

It wasn't just that of course. The random water balloons. The cars splashing. The water being tossed out of windows. The water fountain randomly spraying him as he walked by. The locker room showers always lost hot water the moment he stepped in...but it was also fixed by the time he could report it.

But the worst was his homeroom teacher. Didi. At first he felt like she was just, well, a bimbo. Now he was sure she was, but also that she had something to do with this. He knew that didn't make any sense. How could someone make it rain or cause a fire hydrant to burst? Yet more often than not he found her lurking nearby after he got doused. Even when he dodged the incoming water he often turned to see her with a disappointed look on her face. It didn't make sense, but he couldn't shake it.

Ryan wasn't a rule breaker. He was a good person, really. But it got to the point where he did something he would never, ever, normally do. He'd gone to Didi's office to confront her, but she wasn't there. She wasn't, but the door was unlocked and her purse was sitting there on her desk. Ryan quietly slipped inside the room and slowly peeked inside her purse.

He didn't know what he would find. A remote control? A magic wand?

What he did find confused him. Really confused him. It was stuffed full of small books. Japanese...Chinese...some Asian language anyway. He picked one up. The cover had a girl and a panda on it and besides the Asian characters what seemed to be '1/2'. He flipped through it, it was a comic? No, a manga. That's what it was called, right? He flipped through it, wondering why Didi had a few dozen comics in her purse. Then he spotted something that shocked him. He couldn't understand the characters but it looked like the girl was being splashed with water and becoming a boy. And there was a pig-boy too. And a panda-man?

"What the fuck..." He whispered. He pulled out his phone and snapped a photo of the cover. Then quickly ran away so he wouldn't get caught snooping.

He didn't make it out of the building unscathed though. Coming around the corner he bumped into Didi herself. Although he was much larger than Didi, and had been moving faster, somehow he was knocked backwards while she remained standing. And just his luck, Didi had been holding a pitched of water, cold water, which she happened to let fall all over him.

"Oh my goodness, you poor thing!" Didi said, not sounding sympathetic at all. "Let me help you up." Didi easily pulled Ryan to his feet as if he weighed nothing at all. He couldn't resist and found himself standing before her, much shorter than before and wearing an oversized uniform. "Oh dear, that uniform is all soaked and it doesn't even fit. I should have something you could wear in my office. Something just your size."

"No thanks," Ryan said immediately, "Sorry for bumping into you. I'll change at home."

"Nonsense, come with me." Didi grabbed his hand and started off. This time Ryan resisted, and pulled back with all his might. Didi didn't break stride at all and he found his feet sliding easily along the floor. Was she some kind of superhuman? "Here, put this on." Didi handed him a shirt and awkwardly waited for him to change.

Ryan sighed, realizing he wasn't going to get any privacy and Didi wouldn't just let him go. He turned his back and quickly stripped off his wet shirt and put on the one from Didi. As she said it was just his size. Oddly so. It was snug, but not uncomfortably so. Almost like it had been tailored made for his female form. Also it was odly familiar. He turned and saw his reflection in her window and it clicked. The girl in the comic had been wearing this!

"Um, you just happened to have THIS lying around? What even is it?"

"It's nothing, just a little something I picked up...at...the...uh...farmer's market! Wait, no. I mean. Um. Flea market. That's it!" Didi said frantically, "What luck that it fits you so well! In fact, you keep it. It looks so good on you!"

Ryan nodded, totally freaked out. He didn't know how, but somehow Didi was involved in everything that had been going on. He slowly backed out of the office, then practically ran all the way home. First thing...well, no. First thing would be to take a nice hot shower and change back. Second thing, he HAD to find out what the comic was!
