he altar is too creepy to be allowed to continue existing! You slash with your sword and sever the silken cord that is keeping the spider suspended above the altar, cuasing it to fall and shatter on top of the brass figures... and for a black slimy substance to emerge. It takes only a second for your to recognise the vile thing; a black ooze! A monster notorious for destroying equipment and leaving its victims vulnerable! You'll have to think fast as it reaches for you!
