Despair

Chloe felt her heart drop when he said 2014. "Zacky, it's 2015. Not 2014." Chloe quietly whispered. She tried her best to hold her tears in when she talked to Zack. The doctor who was quietly observing the scene jumped in and said, "He lost about a year's worth of memory. We'll try our best to help him regain his memory if you want." Chloe nodded and looked down at the floor. The officer decided to leave the room to escape the awkwardness.

The moment was ruined when Brandon and Heather enter the room. Gavin, Ashley, and Victoria decided to wait outside the room to accomadate the small hospital room. "Hey, hey. Zack is back! How are you feeling, buddy?" said Brandon.

"You were in a terrible accident. I tried to call both your and Chloe's cellphone but none of you picked up. I thought something was wrong so I left the cabin and found out about an accident. I rushed to the scene as fast as I could." said Heather.

Zack had a pensive look on his face, "We were at a cabin?"

Heather and Brandon looked at him like he was an idiot. "Yeah..." answered Brandon.

"He lost about a years worth of memory." Chloe quietly explained to them.

"Are you serious bro? Hey Zack, can you remember who your girlfriend is?" asked Brandon. He was immediately slapped by Heather for asking that.

"Lisa." Zack answered as it was the easiest question in the world. He yawned and lay back into his bed.

Hearing the answer broke Chloe's heart. Chloe rushed out of the room and saw Victoria standing near the door. She ran to her and buried her face into Victoria's shirt. "He can't remember... he forgot about me..." sobbed Chloe.

"Yeah I heard." Victoria quietly said. She tried her best to comfort Chloe by whispering in her ear and rubbing her back.

"Oops." said Brandon which was followed by a **** stare from Ashley. Brandon turned back towards Zack but found him to be fast asleep. The people cleared out of the room to let Zack sleep. They decided to go to the hospital cafeteria to eat.
