The deities of this world, or most of them, are offering me deals. They want my services are willing to reward me in return.

But they are stubborn and arrogant deities. Many of the deals, to them, equate an alliance, and I can't be allied with multiple deities at once. Numbskulls. Many of the problems each deity is facing could be solved by now if they just worked together.

I focus on the rewards, then, instead of the pacts. Many of the things they are asking me to do I might do anyways without them asking, so I need to maximize what I earn from this.

Okay, Mark of Ownership looks useful. I could prevent my armies and allies from being mind controlled or stolen from me. I'll need Megumin to steal it for me though, I am not helping Shokunin.

After that? Hmm. A weapon or the Ring of Bonds. Or Dreamwalking? There's too many good choices.

No, my best weapon will be my army. There's **** more logical than the Ring of Bonds, even if the other rewards would be fricking cool.
