Keira nodded. “Definitely.” She smiled before turning to go.

Heading back to the manor, and up to her dorm room, she found her brother, stripping his shirt off, and getting ready for bed. “Hey, you disappeared.” He noted.

“Went for a walk. I see you didn’t score a night with Beth.” she teased.

“It’s been one night.” He protested.

“I mean, it’s only been one night for me.” Keira smirked.

“It wasn’t Beth, or Josie, so, Hope?” He asked. Keira nodded with a bright smile. “Damn you are a lady killer.” He shook his head ruefully.

“Well, when you’re this hot.” Keira shrugged playfully.

“Hey, I’m plenty hot.” He said defensively.

“Pfft, no one cares about your silly muscles.” Keira teased, with an off handed gesture.

“So, it’s all about the tits?” He smirked.

“Duh.” Kiera nodded, heading to the closet, to get changed for bed.

“So, are you going for all three, or are you going to leave some for the rest of us?”

“My own personal harem sounds pretty good, but I don’t think that would fly. The sisters don’t like Hope, and I tried the threesome idea, and they didn’t like it either.” She lamented.

“You didn’t offer me, did you?” he asked suspiciously.

“I did actually. You might be ugly, but if it gets me a threesome with fraternal twins, I’ll survive.” She giggled.

“I’m not ugly.” He growled annoyed.

Keira, having dressed down to her underwear slipped a large t shirt over her lithe body and walked over to him. “You’re not ugly.” She smiled, apologetically. “I’m just not into ****.” She winked.

“Beth and Josie are sisters.” He reminded her.

“Yes, but not my sisters.” She giggled, heading toward her twin sized bed.

“Good point.” He nodded, slipping into his own bed.

“Night bro.” She smiled, turning off her lamp.

“Night sis.” He replied, shutting his lamp off as well.

The next day the two of them were headed down to get breakfast when Keira spotted Hope and Alaric talking outside his office. “I’ll catch up with you.” She told Raph, before heading over toward them. “Hey guys, you look serious.”

Alaric sighed, but it was Hope who responded. “A bus got destroyed, burnt inside out, from what we can tell.”

“Alter?” She asked.

“That’s our guess.” She nodded.

“Cool, can I come?” She asked.

“No, it’s too dangerous.” Hope growled.

“I stood in your flames last night.” Keira frowned.

Alaric stared at the two of them in surprise. “You can withstand Hope’s power?”

Hope rolled her eyes. “Not my full power.”

“Pretty close.” Keira said firmly.

Alaric nodded. “Okay, you can come.”

“What!” Hope growled annoyed.

“You’re both resistant to fire, which could be useful, cause I sure as hell am not.” He frowned at her.

“Fine.” Hope said, stalking off.

“I can’t figure her out, I thought we were, better after last night.” Keira frowned sadly.

“Hope has a lot of baggage. It’s hard for her to open up to people, and she often feels like she has to do everything herself. It doesn’t help that she is far more powerful than I am.” He sighed.

“What about your daughters, I mean I’ve never seen their powers, but they sound impressive.” Keira asked.

“The girls had a falling out a long time ago, I don’t know why, but now they’re like oil and water.” He shrugged. “You should go get ready.”
