Day 23: Pig Skin [ Leather ]

It was the second half of the American football game to end American football games. Tigers vs Wolves.
The Tigers weren't called that for no reason, in fact calling them something else would be disingenuous, because they were in fact anthropomorphic tiger girls, with the physical abilities that come from being the biggest cat in nature.
Same for the Wolves. They were all anthropomorphic wolf girls with the pack coordination and aggressivity that came from being wolves.
The tiger kicked the pigskin harder than anyone had ever kicked anything; it went over goal, past the lectars, out of the stadium and way into the forest, where it finally dropped into a river where a lonely pig boy was fishing.

"Hey!" The Wolf Captain pulled the pig boy towards herself by his collar, baring her teeth, "Why didn't you CATCH it!? Now it's LOST?"
"S-sorry, ma'am!" The pig boy said flustered, "I didn't see it, ma'am! N-not before it fell into the river, ma'am!"
The Tiger captain shook her head, "How are we supposed to finish the game now that we don't have an oval piece of leather anymore?"
"I'm so sorry... of course I'll replace it for you when I'm done fishing."
"Wrong!" The Wolf Captain lifted the pig boy up and carried him under her arm, "You're replacing it now, Pig Skin!"
"Hey!" The pig boy oinked, "Let me down!"
"You can't use people as a ball, Madison..." The Tiger Captain said annoyed.
"What I'm hearing is that you want to quit because you're losing!"
"...sorry pal. You're gonna have to endure some roughhousing."

Back on the stadium, the wolf girl held down the big boy who was thrashing around haplessly.
"Balls don't squirm, Pig Skin!" She tossed him behind her between her legs, to the Wolf Quarterback who picked him up under her arm, running as fast and as far as she could. When the tiger girls approached, he was passed to the next wolf girl before they could pounce, and then the next.
But one of the tiger girls already was on to the wolves, and pounced on a wolf when she caught the pig boy, leaving him open for another tiger girl to tackle her, sending them to the ground. More and more tiger girls piled on top of the wolf girl, who in turn was lying on top of the pig boy at the bottom of the dog pile.

"Tsk... lucky shot. There's no chance that sweet bacon's getting past our defence though." The Wolf Captain licked her lips.
"Please sit still, and it will be easier to carry you to the goal." The Tiger Captain said as she straddled the pig boy, who could only nod along sadly.
She tossed him between her legs to the quarterback, who ran with him with blinding speed to the other goal, passing him to her teammate as the wolf girls approached who quickly passed her back.
She had managed to evade the main team, but the Wolf Quarterback was still ahead of her, lunging to get the pig boy for herself.
When the wolf girl dove to tackle the tiger, she rose as she leapt high over the wolf girl, dunking him down in the touchdown area.

"All right" The Tiger Captain said, "If we can make this kickoff, we'll win." She clapped her hands excitedly, handing the pig boy over to the quarterback.
"Don't fail us now."
"I won't..." The Quarterback said.
"M-me neither." The pig boy said to everyone's surprized, least of all his own.
The Tiger Captain held down the pig boy while the Quarterback took the distance for a running start. She dashed off, and kicked the poor little pig boy right in his bacon, sending him flying far, far off... right towards the Wolves' goal... but it looked like he was going to bounce off.
In
the last moment, the pig boy spun himself in the air like a pole vaulter would, arching his back and bending his knees, acrobatically landing in the arms of the tiger girl who was on the other side.

"Yes!" The Tiger Captain hugged the Tiger Quarterback.
"We did it!" The Quarterback squealed and hugged the Captain back.
"That's not fair!" The Wolf Captain growled indignantly, "The ball was working for you!"
"Well maybe you shouldn't have treated him like a soccer ball!" The Tiger Captain responded.
The tiger who held the pig boy kissed him deeply out of gratitude and jubilation, before her teammates all picked the pig boy up and carried him off to the locker room to celebrate.

The End!
