Dave Takes a Nap

"And the underwear goes in this drawer." Dave said as he pulled open the top drawer of his dresser. Barbara grabbed a couple pair of Dave's underwear from the laundry basket and placed them neatly in the drawer. Reaching back down she grabbed the last couple pair of underwear from the basket and placed them in the drawer. "And laundry is done." Dave said.

Barbara pushed the drawer shut and turned her attention back to Dave. "So what's next?"

"That's a good question..." Dave paused and then let out a big yawn. "Damn..." The poor night's sleep and all of craziness of the day was catching up with Dave. "Honestly I could almost take a nap..."

"Okay!" Barbara said excitedly. "Nap time it is!"

Dave kind of chuckled and shook his head at Barbara. "Actually a nap would be nice..." He thought to himself. "You know what? I actually think I will take a nap." Dave said glancing over at the clock in his bedroom. "How long before you need to rehydrate?"

"Umm... I'll be good for a few hours." Barbara said smiling and nodding. "I actually only need to rehydrate a couple times a day, but..." Barbara paused and gave Dave a pouty face. "I'd prefer if you let me rehydrate a few times a day. That way I always feel refreshed!" Barbara smiled and batted her eyes at Dave. "Just like you'll feel after your nap!"

Dave let out a sigh and shook his head. "Fine... You can have something to drink after my nap." Dave shook his head as he took off his pants. "Where did you learn that little move anyways?"

"Annie!" Barbara said smirking.

"Of course..." Dave said plopping down on his bed and looking over to Barbara who still stood by the dresser. "Maybe I should have her watch something while I take a nap..." Dave thought to himself as he reached over to grab the remote. "While I take a nap, why don't I put something on for you to watch." Dave motioned for Barbara to take a seat on the empty side of his bed. "But what should I have her watch?..." Dave pondered as Barbara hopped onto the other side of the bed.

"I should be more careful this time..." Dave thought as he began surfing through all of his different streaming services. "April would be interesting..." Parks and Rec flashed across the screen. "Maybe Erin? She cutes and quirky..." Dave thought as he clicked past The Office. "O god I could tell her to learn from Kelly..." Dave grinned as he clicked past Married With Children. "Ginger or Mary Anne? Definitely Mary Anne, but maybe..." Dave clicked past Gilligan's Island. "I wonder if she could learn from an animated character?" Dave had Archer pulled up on the TV. "Lana would be interesting... Or Cheryl.... Could someone who doesn't breath have a **** fetish? Hmmm...." Dave continued to surf before he settled on....

Author Note: I'm not thrilled with the next couple chapters I have written, so I might step away for a day or two to let the story marinate a bit. I'll probably still post those chapters, but I may rewind to this point to redirect the story arch.
