It was a cruel thing to do and Master agreed. Still, she deemed it necessary. “Gina would do much worse to us”, she told me. “This is for your sake as well. Gina would absolutely try to get back at me with you.”

I couldn't deny it. Still, at the very least I could try to make things a little easier on her with this punishment.

Master left, so it fell to me to clean up and get everything ready for our departure. It was then that Gina spoke to me.

“Aren't you tired of being Marcie's plaything like that?”

“Of course not! Master takes good care of me!”

Gina gave me a annoyed look before falling back down on the bed. “This trip was absolutely awful.”

“S-sorry.”

“Why are you apologizing? God, you are such a little...ugh. Still, thanks.”

I looked at her in confusion.

“You did this because you wanted to give me a break, right? I would have much preferred staying at home, but I can appreciate the sentiment, I guess. So...thanks.”

“No problem”, I said. “I hope you and Master can make up as well.”

Gina laughed at that. “Whatever, just get our luggage ready, Pet”, and strolled out of the room.

For some reason I had to smile.
