Curiousity

Pressing in the button, doomgal stared at the misty skull a few moments, wondering what it was. She knew there were some strange artifacts throughout her journey so far back on Mars and the base, which gifted her some fleeting ability that helped with the demons, like invulnerability, increased deadliness, a miraculous healing of her wounds, or some superhuman increase to her raw strength. The strange colour and shape of it made her pause, nothing like the others.

She reached out and touched it.

The misty skull began to melt into doomgal's arm, an intense heat flowed through her that burned even hotter than the heat from an overclocked plasma rifle. But with her iron determination, it was nothing.

Soon the heat died down, and she looked around her body to see a strange pink glove on her right arm that went up her elbow, covered in hearts. A few moments were spent trying to pull it off, to no avail.

Soon, doomgal grunted and walked out through the newly opened door, into the next room.
