It all begins at a graduation party, and a rather large one at that. It is at Harry's house, and you are surrounded by your friends, Laurence, Lily, Scarlett, and Kyle (you were his plus one). Also attending is Grace, who you aren't particularly close to, but you still know her. Everybody is sitting in a circle in the living room, talking and laughing and having a good time. Discussing what games they should play, what drinks they should have, what music they should put on.

Then, the doorbell rings, and the final guest of the night shows up. It is Victoria, in all her radiating beauty. Your heart flutters at the sight of her and your stomach feels queezy. With school ending, this might be your final chance to make your move. You decide to do it tonight, even if you have to embarrass yourself and do it in front of all these people. You have already promised yourself this. You are committed.
