Crossing the threshold (Contact,Pharmasist)

Before setting off he had prepared a large surplus of all manner of potions for Dahlia, she of course wanted to accompany him but Syd convinced her to stay behind to take care of the village, his dungeon, and his minions, pointing both the importance of these tasks as well as her lack of power.

He also send one of his most advanced minions on a delivery mission in Helsa'ar, Gonargos (monster realm capital). Despite having a very slim chance his message would reach its intended target, there was meaning simply in the act, not to mention the huge potential benefit should his minion actually succeeded in his delivery... But for now, he needed to focus on his travel and his target.

Ideally, Syd wanted to go after Sphiga first but unfortunately excluding Orchid she was the one furthest away from his position so he gave up on the idea and instead set his sights at Citrinas.

Not only was she currently in the same country as him but she was apparently the only hero who instead of traveling the world beating the new generation of monsters had chosen to retire after the defeat of the previous demon king.

And so Syd with his mind made up joined a caravan in the guise of a pharmacist his destination Venberk, home of Archimago Citrinas.
