The call to adventure (contact branch)

The last month had been quite proactive, he had accumulated a massive amount of XP and even managed to gain the trust and affection of the whole village, by now he could do just about anything and nobody would really object, this, of course, wasn't only due to his charisma but, as he came to realize down the line, due to his potions or to be more precise because of his bodily fluids inside the potions and thanks to the skill internal alchemy that basically included every potion he made even more fascinating was that this effect didn't appear to be magical just a sympathetic effect this meant it couldn't be detected or dispelled, a truly happy (if a bit disturbing) surprise.

He had also come to appreciate just how truly broken [True gamer HuD], the ability the two goddesses had bestowed onto him, was.
Not because of the massive boost in his XP, the inventory pocket dimension or the achievement system no, its true greatness came from the ability to control your XP allocation. Normally the people of this world gain levels immediately and would get promoted to a different class as soon as the prerequisites were met, the same was more or less true for evolutions, however, thanks to this ability Syd had full control over these procedures, this not only ensured he could wait for a better promotion or evolution to become available before going through with it but he could also keep a low level for prolonged periods to ensure greater experience gains, it was mainly thanks to this trick he had managed to gain as much XP as he did in a mere month, as for the other factor for this growth...it was sex. As ridiculous as it was, sex was actually a great source of XP as causing your partner to climax was essentially like winning against them in a duel and because of this Dahlia had also seen some extraordinary growth, she had gone from a simple [Villager] to a [Demon Wisperer] / [Monster Breeder] she had also achieved high enough level that she could solo his dungeon (as long as he didn't interfere at least.)

In all honesty, Syd considered just living there for the rest of his days, after all, it was safe and he was happy, happier than he had ever been in fact... But he knew this wasn't going to last, he had been placed in this world as a pawn this meant that even if his "masters" did not decide to punish him for not acting the way they wanted, the war between light and dark was only going to grow as time passed and it was going to eventually reach him. He needed to take action while the two sides were still recovering and use this opportunity to shape the conflict in his favor.

And so Syd began his preparations for his quest into the world.
