Cows Aren't the Most Vibrant Thinkers

The first thing you notice is the dull static sound the headphones seem to emit. You thought they'd have something like a man speaking in hypnotic voice. But, you really hear almost nothing. It was almost droning.

Was this really supposed to be how they kept the cows in line?

You look out at the crowd. They're watching closely. Not laughing or mocking you, just waiting with baited breath to see if something changes.
