Covert operations

Mina pondered for a moment. She sort of wanted to do this investigation on her own. Given even she didn't know what the pervert could change anymore (Whoopee for ignorance!), she wasn't sure if any of the other girls would even take her seriously. The idea of reality being toyed around with would be a lot to accept, especially since she was the only one who had noticed. They'd probably think that she was joking around with them and wouldn't want to help investigate or be helpful with something so ludicrous.

On top of that, The Pervert clearly had his sights on her, for some reason. Letting her be aware, leaving a note at her door for her to find, because he somehow knew that she was investigating. So, why bother stressing out the girls and possibly dragging them into this problem she was stuck in. Surely, it was better to let them believe everything was normal.

On the other hand, she knew there was only so much she could do on her own, and it would be good to see if Kyoka had actually taken the notes. She was the only lead that she had right now, so it may be worth the risk. Plus, it could be worth observing Kyoka for a little while; Mina wasn't sure about her involvement or not, yet.

"Just some notes I was keeping under my pillow." Mina said with a shrug. "I guess I could have misplaced them. But since you were the last one I saw last night, I guess you could help me search my room before class starts."

With a quick (and strangely nervous) nod from Kyoka, the two headed off back to the pig girl's room.

Toru let out a sigh as she watched them leave. They were the two most wrapped up in this mess, so approaching them would be difficult. She couldn't let herself be exposed as being in the know, after all. For now, it would probably be best if she went solo before figuring out what best to do and who to trust.

She sat herself down and got herself a bowl of cereal with Momo Milk, thinking about how she would observe Mineta that day.

Between all the internal anxiety the three heroines had been going through, they failed to notice at least one member at their table had taken notice of the three of them, a sense of suspicion rising in their brain...

Kyoka had followed Mina back to her room, the bat-girl keeping herself focused on Mina.

"So you were keeping these... things under your pillow," asked Kyoka, doing her best to vain ignorance while she watched the pink pig girl upturn her bedding.

"Notes. Written notes. About half a dozen or so," answered Mina.

Kyoka hoped she wasn't pushing her luck by asking: "Notes? What kind of notes?"

Mina halted her **** search and said, "Just notes, with... I doubt you'd understand right now, but I think they are important."

"Well... If they were important, don't you think it would have been safer to put them in a draw or safe or something?"

"Maybe," Mina said, giving up and sitting on her disheveled bed, realising that the notes had indeed gone missing, "I just thought it be better to keep them close-by while I slept, since anyone could come right in and take them, what with the doors not having locks."

"Yeah, I suppose trying to hide something in a room without locks is pretty inconvenient. I guess that would be a downside." Kyoka nodded, just going along with what Mina was saying.

"What are you talking about? It's AWESOME," Mina snapped back automatically, rising from the bed and standing excitedly, "How amazing is it that anyone can barge right into our rooms whenever they want. I mean, we're all friends; there's nothing weird about friends having no expectation of privacy or personal space, right? Having no locks on our doors just makes it so much easier, now. It's one of the best changes ever."

Kyoka blinked at Mina. Where had that response come from? The door thing had been a contentious issue ever since they arrived at the dorms. It was just so normal that no protest over it was really started. While it was true that it was perfectly acceptable for a friend or a classmate to enter a girl's room, without needing permission, no locks at all did always sound like a dangerous security risk that Kyoka could never overlook. Kyoka had never remembered Mina being so excited about it. In fact, she was sure that Mina had felt the same yesterday... In fact, she seemed aghast at the idea yesterday, hadn't she? Like she was surprised... Like it wasn't normal...

No way. Could that have been a change too? But they've never had locks on their doors, had they?

"'Changes'?" She repeated, causing Mina to clasp her hand over her mouth, as though she had said too much.

Kyoka suddenly felt her phone ding.

While Mina was acting frantically, trying to change the subject, Kyoka took the opportunity to look down at her phone. She saw that she'd gotten a text from Mineta.

"HEY, BATGIRL."
"Saw you and Mina sneaking off just now. I hope you still remember Rule #2. DO NOT HELP HER. PLAY DUMB AND DO NOT LET HER FIND OUT ABOUT ME, but stick with her. I want to see how this goes."

"Also, RULE #1: You have to obey me. Remember?"
"Give the little Piggy a kiss for me."

Kyoka grimaced before puckering her lips and just going in for a kiss.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Mina cried, pushing Kyoka away and jumping back.

"Umm... Just wanted to give you a reassuring kiss." The bat girl lied, hoping that she wouldn't be suspicious.

Good/Bad news for her - Mina was suspicious, just not of her. She thought she'd been made ignorant of all the changes again (yay!), but she didn't remember anything about reassuring kisses. Did that mean she wasn't ignorant of changes anymore! Boo! Well, yes, it could help her figure out who the mastermind was, but she couldn't vibe with her team anymore if that's the case.

A sudden kiss on her lips brought her back to awareness. "Are you okay?" Kyoka asked, tilting her head as she pulled back. Mina had to shake her head to clear her thoughts. "Yeah, sorry, just... worried over nothing on that front." She waved her off as they went back to looking.

Toru, meanwhile, was doing the most logical thing she could think to do - follow Mineta while invisible. From what he had said last night, he was the source of everything odd they weren't noticing. She'd love it if Tsu loved cum again, but the little pervert couldn't be trusted. She just needed to figure out how he did it, then prevent him from doing so. Like a hero!

So far, he hadn't done much out of the ordinary (as far as she could tell), just giving Momo her first milking of the day (or second, she supposed, given they'd had cereal for breakfast), before playing with Uraraka with a laser pointer. Darn it! It was so hard to tell what was right and what wasn't! Maybe since Mineta was grinning this was something he'd changed? How could she-

"Petting Zoo, Blind Eye."

It didn't really matter what Mineta did. He was probably the mastermind, but hyper-focusing on everything he did would just be giving her stress. She should just ignore him for now.

"Hey there Toru. where you been?" Tsuyu asked, spotting the chameleon girl as she shifted back into the visible spectrum and sat down.

"Oh, just practicing my camouflage skills." Toru gave a casual wave. Not entirely untrue, but she didn't want to share she had been investigating Mineta. In addition to the fact that what he's doing wasn't important, she wanted to keep the fact she was hunting the mastermind secret. It was probably him, but right now it wasn't important. "So, how have-"

"Open Frog Legs."

"-things been going for you guys?" She asked as Tsu spread her legs wide in her seat, Mineta reaching forward and teasing her snatch. Tsu shrugged while squirming. which was odd but that was because Mineta was doing something unimportant, so she shouldn't pay that any mind.
