Coronation Day(( Coronation Ceremony))

The high priestess brought the temple to silence and then started the ceremony as laid down by tradition. "Princess Karleen, will you grant and keep and by your oath confirm to the people of Freeconia the laws and customs given to them by the previous just and goddess-fearing Queens, your ancestors, and especially the laws, customs, and liberties granted to the clergy and people by the glorious Queen, the sainted Arerto, your predecessor? Karleen replied "I grant and promise them.""Princess Karleen, will you in all your judgments, so far as in you lies, preserve to the Goddess and Holy Temple, and to the people and clergy, entire peace and concord before God ?”_"I will preserve them."Princess Karleen, will you, so far as in you lies, cause justice to be rendered rightly, impartially, and wisely, in compassion and in truth?""I will do so."Princess Karleen, do you grant to be held and observed the just laws and customs that the community of your realm shall determine, and will you, so far as in you lies, defend and strengthen them to the honour of the Goddess?" "I grant and promise them."_

The_ _priestess took the state crown which was maid of our gold and had many sapphires and diamonds mounted around its rim. "With the laying of this sacred crown on your head Princess Karleen you will become Queen Karleen of Freeconia." Karleen's princess crown was unclipped and removed to be stored in the royal vaults" The high priestess lowered the state crown down on Karleen's head and Karleen soon felt how heavy it was and she realised that she truly now had the weight of the kingdom on her shoulders. With the ceremony finished and with the signing of the royal ascension Queen Karleen Stood and the train bearers again took up the train. With trumpets sounding the new Queen walked down the central aisle towards the big open oak doors and soon as she stepped outside the crowd cheered "Long live Queen Karleen" Again she got into the carriage and her train was bundled up around her and the procession headed back through Talia.

Karleen when she had woken up was officially in name a princess. In fact, she had been Queen the moment Arerto had passed and today was just tradition. She waved at the cheering crowd some of whom were throwing flowers at the carriage as she passed by. The sun had reached its midday arc and Karleen was feeling a little hungry but soon she could have some lunch. Again trumpets sounded signifying the return of the monarch to the palace and they passed under the gate heading up the long oath to the palace. Warriors lined the path and all stood to attention with spears held in front of them then they relaxed once the carriage had passed. Soon the escort and carriage stopped outside the palace's main entrance and again the train bearers appeared which was a testament to the organisation of today. They took the train and Queen Karleen headed inside followed by them to her chambers where Bella and Selina waited having prepared some lunch for Karleen.
