After weighing her options, Ash decided that copying Iris' occupation would be the easiest course of action. If she too were to try to become a Dragon Master, then she would obviously be traveling together with her sister. Committing to her decision, she aimed the remote at her sister and pressed the purple button just before she left through the front door.
In an instant, Ash no longer found herself standing behind the Pokémon-Center's main desk, but instead walking outside right next to her sister. Looking down at herself, she had lost her nurse uniform and once again wore her white, blue and black version of Iris' usual outfit. Seeing this, Ash happily giggled to herself as she had successfully returned to traveling with her sister.
"Hm? What is it, Ashley?" Iris asked, having heard her sister's sudden giggle.
"Oh, it's nothing," she deflected. "I'm just looking forward to picking Deino back up and starting our Kanto journey."
"Yeah, I'm eager to see Axew again as well," Iris agreed, now smiling very similarly to her sister. "And once we're on our journey, we'll do our best to become stronger and challenge Lance!"
"Of course! Let's get on our way then, it's not too far anymore," Ash said as the twins were now headed on the final leg of their path to Pallet Town.
Now back to traveling with Iris, Ash pondered whether she should use the remote once more before they reached Pallet Town. She was no longer under threat of being separated from Iris and was again free to experiment with her, but it wasn't as if she needed to do so right away. She could simply wait with further changes until they had picked up their Pokémon from Professor Oak.
