She's smart and she's got a good head on her shoulders, on top of being very hot. So, why are you holding back? You need to lock that down."

"Lock it down? You mean get married," Matt's face goes pale, almost like he's feeling nauseous.

"Sure," I say. "What's wrong with marriage?"

"If it's it's with the right girl nothing, and honestly I want what you have with Ariana," Matt confesses while scratching the back of his head. "But I think it's too soon for that yet with Kali. I feel like I'm still getting to know her. We don't all jump into marriage like you did."

"If it's the right girl, you just gotta take the plunge. You'll always be learning new things about her, even after you get hitched. There's really nothing I can say to prepare you for just how different marriage is," you tell him, peppering your lies with some honesty so he doesn't get suspicious. "All I'm saying is that you should think about it."

"Yeah, no worries there. I am thinking about it."

You do feel a little bad now, knowing that your best friend is at least considering putting a ring on this girl's finger, while you're blackmailing her into sucking your cock and getting up a threesome. Or that before even all that, she flirted with you of her own free will. He should definitely know all of that before he gets down on one knee. "Alright then, sorry to drag you out here for nothing. This just seemed like a face to face conversation." you say as you prepare to get up from the table. "I should be getting back home to Ari."

You head back to your car, and begin to drive home, realizing that you've set your fate now. Even if it comes out that Kali flirted with you and you use her text messages to show her apology, Matt will wonder why you didn't tell him about it here tonight. If it comes out after tonight, you'll probably look as guilty as Kali for hiding it and keeping Matt in the dark, text messages or no. There's no turning back, so all you can do is make sure that it never comes out.
