Chapter 6 by Acorn142 Acorn142

Do you continue what you are doing or return to the stack of papers?

Continue looking through the cabinet

Satisfied that it is still safe, you continue to look through the cabinet. You are struck by how easy it would be get mixed up as a pharmacist. First of all, many of the **** look alike, and a lot of them have very similar names, and on top of that, many of the individuals whose names are on the labels have very similar names to each other. You notice, for example, that there is another student who shares your name, but it is spelled “Conner” instead of “Connor” like yours. Since that student’s prescription is for birth control pills, you assume there’s at least one other difference between the two of you, as well.

As you continue to examine the cabinet’s contents, you are startled to hear, “Hey! Do you have permission to be in here?”

You jump and look to see a young man — perhaps a year older than you. He has red hair and a stern expression on his face. From the way he is dressed, you guess that he is the nurse’s student assistant — evidently returning much earlier than Thursday.

You have to think fast.

What do you do?
