Chapter 7 by Kokorock176 Kokorock176

What comes next?

Confessing to Katara

Back at camp, Sokka wanted a way to tell Katara about the book, and also wanted to experiment with it's capabilities and decided to try to kill two birds with one stone. He opened the book to the Gaoling section and began writing once more.

New Rule: While staying Gaoling, Avatar Aang will always go to sleep early whenever he returns to camp.

He closed the book and observed Aang who was busy talking to Katara about how they might look for the Blind Bandit. Suddenly, Aang yawned and went to his sleeping bag, wishing Katara a good night and abruptly ending the conversation. Katara walked over to Sokka with a look of suspiscion.

"Okay, just what is this book of yours? You wrote something down and Aang just happened to fall asleep?" she demanded.

"It's a rulebook that creates rules that automatically get followed by everyone they apply to. There's new rules, which take effect after abotu 30 seconds..." he said pointing to Aang, "...and there's old rules which take effect immediately and change reality in accordance."

"Any rule? Yeah right," Katara said skeptically, "For example, the Kiyoshi warriors would never let a man like you be an official member, even if they let you train under them."

Sokka smirked, "Why don't I prove you wrong then?" Sokka took out the book and made a new section called Kiyoshi Island.

Old Rule: Sokka is an official member of the Kiyoshi warriors and wears the uniform proudly.

Katara watched in shock as his water tribe clothes transformed into the typical dress of a Kiyoshi Warrior before Sokka erased the rule and his clothes changed back. "How long have you kept this book from us?"

"I only got it today, don't worry," he said casually.

"Don't you see how dangerous this book is?" she asked angrily as she stared at him.

"Duh, that's why I'm trying to use it to help Aang. Like what if I make it a rule that the Blind Bandit has to join us to teach Aang Earthbending?"

"Out of the question!" she replied harshly, "I get that you wanna help Aang, but training Aang is her decision to make, not ours." Katara grabbed the book and began trying to pull it out of Sokka's hands, Sokka starts tugging back.

"Hey! What gives Katara, this book found me for a reason, what makes you think you should have it?"

(Comment who you want to end up with the book in their hands, and if they do anything to solidify their ownership.)

Who gains posession of the book?
