Commander Maro

“Well, well,” she heard a familiar voice say. “At last. I’ve finally found you.”

Astrid began to squirm unsure of what was happening. Suddenly the person grabbed her blindfold and yanked it off. Her eyes widened as she met Commander Maro standing over her bed. “What are…”

“Someone told me to find you here,” Commander Maro said. “I knew I couldn’t pass the chance up. And lucky me… it seems I found you at the exact right time.”

“You bastard,” Astrid growled, still gagged and muffled.

“Nah uh. Don’t even try. We already have your precious family. Half of which are dead now. And the others… well… they’ve turned themselves in. It was just… better that way,” Commander Maro said.

“Who told you?” Astrid said through her gag.

Commander Maro grinned as he said. “Some female nord. Said you kidnapped her and made her kill someone. Knowing the Dark Brotherhood, it didn’t surprise me. What did was the fact you apparently told her your exact location and secret password.”

“No…” Astrid said. “That can’t be…”

“You’re getting sloppy, Astrid,” Commander Maro said. “Now let’s get going. Don’t even bother fighting back. We have this place surrounded. Thanks for doing all the work for me by the way. You being naked will make things a whole lot easier.”

He grabbed her wrists and pinned them behind her back not giving her a chance to fight back. Astrid looked around in horror as she saw her sanctuary, her home in flames just as she was hauled out of the sanctuary.
