These glasses end up in the hands of comic book nerd extrordinar, Stanly. He of course ordered them from an old comic book, little did he know that this came from the new owner of the number, an experimental testing facility. Since the facility was super classified and also working on experimental X-ray glasses they thought he was calling to test them out.

When Stanly received his 'phony' X-ray Specs, he decided to add them to his collection. Under closer examination these looked much cooler than all the other lame specs in his collection. He wanted to put them on and see how they feel and according to nerd dreams actually work. Stanly puts them on.
