Climb down among the snail girls

You slip and scramble down the slimy rocks to the floor of the ravine and begin to slowly and carefully make your way across the uneven, slippery-slick floor. As soon as you do so, the snail girls become aware of your presence, their heads turning and antennae bobbing in your direction. You gulp nervously and increase your speed a little as the gastropod girls slowly and silently glide towards you.

Halfway across the floor, you realise that several of them have crawled round behind you, blocking your retreat, and you have to move quickly past one that attempts to grab you, her soft, cold and slime-slick hand gently caressing your cheek as you pass. You shiver and nearly slip as you hurry away from her.

Straight ahead of you is the rough stone wall that leads up to the far side of the rope bridge, which still looks scaleable. Off to your left is a shadowy cave entrance, and just off to your right is the glittering gold you spotted from above - it looks like some sort of amulet on a thin chain, lying in a pool of slime. It looks valuable, but there's a snail girl right next to it, staring at you with her blank yellow eyes, one hand caressing her nippleless gray-green breast as the other reaches out and beckons you towards her... You'll have to be quick if you're going to scoop it up without giving her a chance to grab you.

You feel something brush against your butt and jump forward, nearly slipping and falling. Glancing over your shoulder, you see a group of three of them right behind you, staring with their blank but somehow hungry expressions, jet black hair framing their pretty faces...

You gulp, shake your head and get a grip on yourself. More of them are sliding in on all sides, surrounding you. You need to make a move quickly.
